PHOENIX (AP) -- The Arizona Legislature gave final approval Thursday to a proposal that would require President Barack Obama and other presidential candidates to prove they are U.S. citizens before their names can appear on the state's ballot.
Arizona would become the first state to require such proof if Gov. Jan Brewer signs the measure into law.

Yes!
Now more...
they need to require BC for the primary ballot, too. Force the courts to look at it next winter, when ballot qualification occurs for primary.
Wow!!!!!
But no, they weep and rail at Arizona being so mean. Why the long faces? Obama can produce the long form...right?
Push comes to shove, the Obamabots are birthers too, because they are terrified he can't produce the long form.
Lead on Arizona!
Ree Rah Ree
Kick ‘em in the knee
Ree Rah Ras
Kick ‘em in the azz!
So Obama sued AZ over their bill to keep out illegals and now AZ has passed a bill that might keep Obama out.......... Karma or payback?
GOAL! Slap shot by BREWER at 2:17 of the 3rd period!
Assist to TRUMP!
all the other documents also have to have signatures of attending. the az legislature played it smart.
So far we know somewhat that Dunham was his mother. How does one prove he doesn't have dual citizenship if all documents are non existent? For all we know, his mysterious dad may have been a US born sperm donor.
0bama will have no problems with this AZ bill. It helps him pass.
All the rats have to do is bring this in front of one of their judges and it will be stuck down.
Even so, it shows a foreigner as Zereo’s father, and thus constitutes proof by his own submission that he is not a NBC.
Prior to this, Zero has never had to submit anything other than his own signature in writing. The COLB is just an image on a website, and thus is not yet legally tied to Zero.
Is Jan Brewer planning to sign this?
Even if she does, the bill is very weak.
It lacks an understanding of “natural born citizen.” The Founders relied on de Vattel who determined that both parents must be citizens of the subject’s country at time of birth....plus the subject must have been born IN THE COUNTRY ITSELF.
The AZ law lacks that kind of strict definition.
The original bill stated:
“Within ten days after submittal of the names of the candidates, the national political party committee shall submit an affidavit of the presidential candidate in which the presidential candidate states the candidate’s citizenship and age and shall append to the affidavit documents that prove that the candidate is a natural born citizen, prove the candidate’s age and prove that the candidate meets the residency requirements for President of the United States as prescribed in article II, section 1, Constitution of the United States.” wnd
It has had several amendments as it made its way through committees and floor debates. One of the things it had in it provided citizens with standing to challenge candidates.
Governor Brewer (602) 542-4331
That in itself would be quite revealing. Especially if Holder sues, because it would convince even MORE people that Obama is hiding something.
People are getting mighty curious... mighty curious indeed!
Arizona bill page.
They should post a final version.

The senate was 20 - 9 with one abstention. They've got enough to override a veto although I doubt Brewer would do that.
