Must be the first time in history a stripper stabbed and killed someone. /s
Mangum’s been arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder, assault and battery, communicating threats, injury to personal property, identity theft, resisting a public officer, five counts of arson, and three counts of misdemeanor child abuse. Add a full-blown murder charge to the rap sheet.
Where’s Jesse Jackson to defend her now? Perhaps if he paid for her education like he said he would, this would not have happened. /s
There are 88 Duke University professors with blood on their hands.
What excellent judges of character they must be, shaping the minds of the future ...
It was only a matter of time before Crystal moved up the crime chain. Stealing cars, trying to run over policemen, twice claiming gang rape was just the beginning. And there are some in Durham who still believe the rape story.
Somebody must have acted stupidly. Bush’s fault. Police brutality. Racism. Whatever.
Did you see this?
What goes around, comes around, and often with vengeance.
Hey, she might be innocent; according to cnn she’s just the accuser, not the perjurer, liar, accursed b****, right? /s
Sheesh, what does it take for libs to come right out and call a spade a spade?
She’d be a good one to hire to dance at a frat party.
Yes, the 88 Duke professors are as guilty as the Attorney General who refused to charge her because she wasn’t mentally fit. Thank you Roy Cooper. (I wonder what John Hinckley thinks about that excuse.)
Put me on your ping list. You wouldn’t be Howler would you?
I remember all of the freepers who wanted to hang the Lacrosse team too.
It blows my mind that the 88 Duke professors are still teaching. They should be held accountable â academically and economically â for their arrogance, stupidity, and prejudice. Yes, prejudice. They immediately assumed that the irritating, rich white kids had injured the poor, black woman. They were wrong, and Duke University has had to pay the Lacrosse players out the ying yang. Why didn’t Duke then go after the mouthy, hateful faculty members who contributed to Duke’s need to fork over millions in this case? And...why did Duke University fall all over itself siding with the black accuser before the facts were in?
“The Life of David Gale” is a wonderful movie about the corruption, stupidity, violence, and dishonesty that is the very fruit of university life. The shame is that such execrable people safe inside the university can spend their entire lives being coddled and cuddled by the school’s money and imperviousness to criticism.
“Gee- it must have been a conspiracy by those Lacrosse team and the police. lol”
If you read some of the comments on the article, it seems that some of them agree with you. And that’s not sarcasm!
(ps: I know you were being sarcastic)
:0)
I suppose marching around outside the courthouse carrying lacrosse sticks would be construed as some sort of jury tampering...
She’s gonna need a really good public defender...has Nifong got his law license back yet?
These clowns were included in the release that Duke signed when it settled. American universities are politically corrupt. They survive on government money, and most rely on students taking five or more years to graduate.
