Tina Fey may have been the darling of the left for her Emmy-winning impersonations of Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live. But the comedic actress-director is now expressing regrets about her Palin pokes in her new book, Bossypants. As a matter of fact, Fey suspects that mimicking the former Alaska governor may have hurt the ratings of her NBC sitcom, 30 Rock. Some may argue that exploiting Governor Palin and her family helped bring attention to my low-rated TV show, Fey writes in an excerpt published in USA Today. I am proud to say you are wrong. My TV show still enjoys very low ratings. In fact, I think the Palin stuff may have hurt the TV show. Lets face it, between Alec Baldwin and me there is a certain fifty percent of the population who think we are pinko Commie monsters,

Tina Fey = TRASH, TRASH, TRASH.
I’ve put her in the dumpster.
Hey Tina, if I look really hard, I can see your ratings from my house!
Take that back!
Yeah Ron! I was actually telling my friend the other day when we were talking about the show that Ron has to be the best character on TV at the moment.
I agree with the other poster that it is like the office but a million times better. I used to like the office at first but after like season 2 it just got old, I actually preferred the British version. In fact, Ive been loving british comedy these days.

Don’t be silly Tina, most people in America no longer think that communists like you are monsters. I mean, only right wing extremists think that just because communism has killed 100 million people its not worth another try.
Well, not actually, Tina. Most of us are pretty sure neither you or Alec has a clue about authentic political definitions or structures. We do know you do know a thing or two about absurdist comedy however, and on that basis, count me a fan of the show.
And I thought its ratings were actually really good, so good you could be forgiven for thinking it wasn't on NBC.
Background
Ron Swanson has been Director of the Pawnee Parks and Recreation Department for six years.[1] Ron, a libertarian, believes in the elimination of government waste and has always brought the department in under budget.[1] Ron believes government should be privatized and the parks department follow the business model of the Chuck E. Cheese’s family entertainment chain.[2] He has closed many unnecessary recreational spaces during his tenure, including the Portola Skate Park, the Grice Dog Run, the Morris-Easton Observatory, the Mohanga Native American Heritage Center, and most public drinking fountains.[1] Ron has two ex-wives, both of whom are named Tammy, which is also the name of Ron’s mother.[3] He is usually non-confrontational and gives Leslie a lot of leeway when running the department, both because he respects her greatly and because she loves to take on tasks he abhors, like holding meetings and planning future budgets. He jokingly keeps a claymore and a sawed off shotgun on his desk, so people who ask for things have to stare down the barrel.[4] He enjoys woodworking, breakfast foods, and the works of Ayn Rand.[1] Ron is an avid hunter and fisherman and secretly moonlights as a jazz saxophonist named “Duke Silver”.[5] He also has a self described strong tolerance for alcoholic beverages and is a connoisseur of well-prepared steaks. Swanson’s love of meat has been a recurring gag in several episodes.
Ha ha! Tina, I can see your cancellation from my house.
Julianne Moore has no talent, not that anyone would notice.
I’m not so hot on P & R and I rather thought I’d like it. I despise The Office, which is simply creepy, as I see it. My favorite office oddity was “NewsRadio” actually. But then, I’ve basically sworn off network TV, especially FOX, except for sports, so maybe I’m not in the best position to criticize.
I refuse to watch any show that the two of them are on. There are also several other Hollyweird stars I refuse to see.
And Julianne Moore has tiny, gray teeth!
The reason I don’t watch your show tina is not because of your SNL Palin impersonation (which I didn’t watch) but because 30Rock (and every other sitcom) is a complete waste of my time. I have better things to do than sit around and watch fictional junk.
Uh, who is Tina Fey??
Who are these “Dixie Chicks” that you speak of? Were they famous? I thought that maybe they’d be some Indie folkie group that plays Lilith fest, wears Birkenstocks, plays softball and doesn’t shave.....
30 Rock. Fey, Baldwin, and Tracy Morgan are the three reasdon I don’t watch the show. Too bad, Tina Fey is otherwise somewhat funny.
Which one is Carell in the Office?
Liked NewsRadio too, especially Phil Hartman.
I haven't watched TV regularly in years, but I'm so glad to hear someone say that.
People talk about "The Office" like it's the greatest show, but the few times I've seen it, I've had the same feeling...it's just kind of creepy.
Now Im gonna go home and cry on my great big pillow.
So many dolts on the Left think that Tina Fey quotes are ACTUAL Palin quotes.
You reap what you sow. God is not mocked.
