A man arrested in Massachusetts during the investigation into the failed New York Times [NYT] Square bombing has pleaded guilty to immigration and illegal money transferring charges and now faces deportation to his native Pakistan.
Aftab Ali, also known as Aftab Khan, was sentenced in federal court Tuesday to time served and placed in the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which is expected to deport him within weeks. He has been in federal custody for 11 months.
Ali was one of three men arrested in New England in connection with the failed bombing attempt last May.

Was he complicit? If so then he should be imprisoned
not returned to Pak where he will be a hero.

So, when he arrives in his homeland Pakistan, he gets a HEROS WELCOME.
I hope they plant a GPS device in his butt. He should never again be allowed to leave Pakistan.

I think the case against him was virtually nonexistant. He had had phone contact with the perp, which was enough to get him “noticed” enough to get deported. They could do a few thousand like him every day and not run out of suspects.
Tattoo a Cross on his Left chest area and another on his back then turn him loose in Paki-sand!

He was turned over to ICE which probably let him go, so he could get his business in order before he leaves.
We probably won’t see him agai untl next time he tries to murder Americans.
