The Maryland Senate has killed a measure that sought to extend anti-discrimination protections to transgender people.
On a vote of 27 to 20, the Senate sent a bill back to committee that would have offered protections in housing, employment and lending. With fewer than 12 hours remaining in the 90-day legislative session, the move effectively derailed the bill.
The measure passed the House earlier in the session, and it initially appeared that it would get no consideration in the Senate. But after heavy lobbying by gay leaders, the Senate agreed to hear the bill. It was sent to the floor on a 7 to 4 vote of the Judicial Proceedings Committee.

LOl then Maryland passes a 50% liquor tax. Liquor over tranny degenerate freaks. At least they get their priorities straight.
