Authorities arrested a man in Ohio who was wanted in connection with an explosion outside a Jewish Community Center in Santa Monica.
According to the FBI, 60-year old Ron Hirsch left Los Angeles Thursday on a Greyhound bus bound for New York where he has family.
On Monday, investigators released surveillance video of Hirsch outside a bus station in Denver.
Then, late Monday night, the Jewish news organization VIN said Hirsch was apprehended in Ohio after a member of the public recognized him and called police.
Hirsch is a transient and has been known to use the aliases J. Fisher and Israel Fisher.
The cause of the explosion was initially believed to be the result of a "mechanical failure," but police now say the blast was actually triggered by a homemade explosive device purposely placed there.

Hard to figure out reasons for crazy. I saw a comment when I looked at the article about how people shrug it off if the the perpetrator is white. They are wrong, this idiot needs a good ass kicking even if he is crazy. Maybe he will share a ward in the nut house with some nice Jewish lads.

Everything of this nature is islamism until demonstrated otherwise.
On occassion, people who are rejected for conversion into Judaism get very upset.
He reminds me of some wanna-be-Jewish folks who wanna-be-Jewish for all the wrong reasons (e.g., the voices in their heads tell them to be Jewish).

Ha I had a sense this was an attack, bet when the profile comes out he’s affiliated with liberal agenda, obviously some Jooo hate group, possible islamic religion of PCeace origin? No matter, no synagogue is safe in the world and it’ll get worse. Dang it’s gonna get worse.
