In 1983, the British Labor Party under the hard-left Michael Foot issued a 700-page manifesto so radical that one colleague called it "the longest suicide note in history." House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan has just released a recklessly bold, 73-page, 10-year budget plan. At 37 footnotes, it might be the most annotated suicide note in history.

Newspaper columnists don't compose their own titles.
That's the job of the Headline Editor at each newspaper running the column.
Reason is: Some papers may choose to run the column in one-column format, others in two-, three- or four-column format. In each case the headline must be of a different width and proportion. Accordingly, the individual papers always write the headlines -- on any news story or commentary.
Krauthammer jsut went down a couple of notches in my estimation. Comments like show that Dr. K is not a serious person.
The Democrats did that with something that most of the country did not want, they knew it, and did it anyway. Although there's no consensus on what should be cut, most of the country does know our spending is out of control.
But if the Republicans want to do both the right thing and also have the best image doing it, they are going about it wrong. They should stop granting power to the President he doesn't have.
Draft their own budget from scratch, telling everyone that it's not an adjustment to anything Obama sent, it's a new approach to a serious problem. It's also their proper constitutional role. Then negotiate *after it passes the House*.
This happens all the time. Most legislation is not negotiated and agreed to in advance by all three parties.
When they negotiate to get an agreement in advance before they pass anything, they are negotiating from weakness because they've already given up their power.
If thats true, the question "IS"....
Will he cry?..
The Unions in Wisconsin stepped in it.. big time..
The smell is caressing the voters noses...
The TpCaucus is growing stronger because of it..
snif... snif... can you smell that?..
And in California? Massachusetts?
I guess it’s a question of how schizophrenic Americans are.
Personally, I have little faith in the ignorant rabble.
Sour Krauthammer, Tokyo Rove and Dana Perugino are imposters.
They serve the enemy.
If the GOP Leadership had any guts they come out publicly humiliate these RINOS.
Isn’t that the million dollar question, are the American people serious about smaller government. I have seen this movie before, people upset about deficits but still want to continue receiving their government bennies. I do not know the answer, but I am very afraid that man’s basic human nature will win out, and that will be our doom.
Well Mr. Krauthammer How about if Obamacare is so Freakin Great why do we Need Planned Parenthood,Women get all the tests for free and if its so Great why are the Unions not Protesting and Breaking windows to get in on It instead of getting Waivers from it while the unwashed Masses are FORCED to buy it? Hey Charles maybe you should spend some of your free time and do something useful for us and study how much savings to the Tax payers if ALL GOVERNMENT workers were forced to go On Obamacare instead of their Private Policies and that goes for their retirement plans as well, they all now forfeit their private Plans and Get 401ks and Social Security ,you know those fanrastic plans that the Government workers are Exempt from beacause they are so Fantastic compared to the Junk they are FORCED to get like their salaries only being Double what private sector workers get, after all private sector only pays the Bills the Ingrates!

Well, there's a bit of news business trade knowledge you don't hear every day. I wasn't aware of that.
In the case of this article, it appears that the headline writer did Kraut an extreme dis-service. I'd strangle the guy, if I were him.
A very powerful, and very influential duo. This is the first song I ever heard with an alternate tuning for the guitar. Mucho cool!
Very cool. Looking back at it from our perspective, they had an amazing talent.
Oh yeah! Family, brotherly harmony? And very powerful, for that time, guitar sound? I was a huge fan! One of my favorite guitarists, Albert Lee, will drop everything he’s doing to play Everly tours. A lot of people don’t realize how influential they were, and are.
