I imagine either the DemocRATS or the Republicans won. I do know that Americans lost.

If the republicans are going to cave over so little an amount how can they ever come out on top on a bigger budget?

I had been saying that Obama and Reid had lost... not anymore.

Just another nail in the coffin.

They cut 38 billion out of the 1,500 billion deficit. People have to be stupid to think anybody won.

This is a response to all my freeper friends regarding the budget deal. We agree that I wanted more than our guys agreed too. However, before we do an “O.K. Coral” w/our party I encourage you all to read Thomas Lifson’s article in the American Thinker. There is a lot more in the budget deal than the numbers. For example, the budget cuts are doing away w/programs (defunding) not just cutting their budgets only to be increased at a later time. Both Boehner and Reid cut more w/the demands of the tea party people in the House. Third, and most important to this writer, are guarantees that force the senate to vote on obamacare and other issues that Reid NEVER NEVER wanted the senate to take on. Read the article and then decide whether the Republicans got the shaft or gave it to Obama, Reid, and the facelift princess Pelosi.

Conservatives won. Not as much as they would like to win, but they still won. You know, I am tired of hearing people write about how they didn’t get as much as they wanted. I would’ve liked of gotten more, but we have to take what we can get right now. The next stop, the senate and then the presidency we have to have them all before we can get exactly what we want.

even then, we have to deal with the judges. Look, we’ve had to deal with liberalism for about 70 years, and this will not be won overnight. Rome was not built in a day, and we will not win everything and immediately.

I will contribute to any tea party member that challenges him in the primary

Some on our side counsel keeping our powder dry until the GOP presents their 2012 budget. THAT’S worth risking a government shutdown over, they say. Go to the mat for the Ryan plan.

I however have gotten the distinct feeling that the Congressional GOP does not have the stomach to shut it down under ANY circumstances. If they would not do it now I have no faith they will do it later, or ever.

Bull***t! Seems I remember a day when we had the White House, the Senate and the House and G.W. and the Pubbies spent like a crack whore who just won the lottey. Don't count on Conservatives ever friggin' getting "exactly what we want". It's not friggin' happening!!!
