The dead man was believed to have been a naval officer serving on the state-of-the art submarine, which is currently docked in Southampton. Officers arrested a man after the shooting but said the incident was not terror-related and there was no risk to the public

The article also said that the local mayor and others were aboard doing a tour. Could it have been a disgruntled local?
Since they didn’t say who the shooter was yet...only speculation.

The title makes it sound like he died BECAUSE it was a nuke sub.
Are there any diesel subs anymore? I thought they all were nukes (At least the USN’s are).
