Okay.
So what?
How many Gulf Coast petrochem workers are not working because of her ilk?
She’s a cry baby. Can’t live on $174K? Cry me a river. Quit acting like royalty Cong-gress Critter.
Do you know how much the Sharpies that are used to pencil her eyebrows cost?!?!
As a Democrat House member, she is non essential and should just go home
She certainly couldn’t maintain the same ‘lifestyle’ for very long, without a paycheck.
Besides, just how long does she think things will be ‘shutdown’?
>>I have to tell you that I live paycheck-to-paycheck, like most Americans, Sánchez said.
BULL!
Maybe she shoulda insisted the 111th Congress (of which she was a member) pass a fiscal year 2011 budget BEFORE fiscal year 2011 began on October 1, 2010.
It’s hard to picture the average American having a great deal of sympathy with someone who can’t get by on a $174K annual paycheck—especially given that she’s married to someone who presumably also pulls down some sort of paycheck that likely puts their annual income at least in the 200-250K range. Indeed, if her husband merely earns %76K a year, that would make the pair “rich” according to Barack Obama (and therefore “deserving” of much higher taxes).
If they’re living paycheck-to-paycheck now, they surely wouldn’t be able to afford the taxes Obama would prefer to lay on them. In that regard, Congresswoman Sanchez should be grateful for Republicans standing in the way of his radical redistributionist agenda.
I was under the impression that there are a lot of pay day loan places in the Washington DC area?
Why can’t she do what anyone else would do under the same circumstances?
Yup, she's in the poorhouse, all right.
SNORT.
Gee, Linda, I guess you’ll just have to look for another job like millions of your fellow citizens have had to.
Life is tough, Linda. And it wouldn't hurt you to cut down a little on the food.
What’s her husband, Jim Sullivan do and what kind of income does his work generate? He’s some kind of Democratic consultant (is he paid by his wife campaign as a consultant?)
as a Californian, I’d rather not pay her at all in the first place
