Caller Angela reams Rush up one side and down the other for not questioning Obama's bona fides back when it would have made a difference.
Telling him he and the pubies in high places owe us an apology and should hang their heads in shame for not calling his citizenship status into question before he was even nominated.

I agree. Rush and Trump are friends though, maybe Trump has the goods that show Obama was not born in the US and that's why that aspect is not being brought up?

Rush’s defense was essentially that you couldn’t prove a negative. Something like “there’s no proof that he wasn’t born in Hawaii.” Rush also misses the natural born aspect and he ranted that all this stuff is over and the courts ruled, etc. He also defended by “we have to focus on beating him next time”. Well, duh, if he’s proven inelgible, won’t that stop him in 2012? Rush is smarter than this. I think he’s sorry he didn’t start this and is jealous of Trump now.

Where did I ever say that anyone should be quiet about it? I look at the BC issue in terms of reality, and for me, the most realistic way to get rid of Obomba is to vote him out in 2012. The BC issue certainly adds suspicion, but it’s not my primary focus for 2012.

I think what his investigators have found in the last couple of days, is what Neil Abercrombie alluded to when he went on his investigation...the ‘printed notation’ in the Birth Certificate file of the child Barrack Hussein Obama who would be adopted by Lolo Sotoero and have the name and nationality change noted in the HI DOH records. Barry Soetaro then went to Occidental as an Indonesian national (which he is) and never legally changed his name, renounced his Indonesian citizenship and the rest is history.
Rush is doing a little prep work for Trump’s finding being made known. Beck (after severing his ties w/Fox yesterday—his TV show will be off the air at the end of the year) suddenly ‘discovered’ the Trump story on his ‘The Blaze’ today. Too many long time deniers are warming quickly...and I think it is because the story is close to being “broken” by Trump.
I thought it was interesting that he took the call. I think that they (Snerdly, actually) thought she wouldn't be particularly well spoken. But she really had a great comeback whenever Rush said there wasn't really anything new: "So why is Trump getting so much attention then?"
(I like Rush, and I've defended him on this.)

Anyway,...This is NOT about getting rid of Obama. If he is a natural born citizen he has every right to be there. Only impeachment would get rid of him which is unlikely.
What is most important is that given Obama’s very questionable background is that the rule of law and the Constitution be defended!

Out of curiosity, which lawsuits have you, or anybody else in this thread ripping Rush, filed challenging the constitutionality of Obomba's eligibility? It's easy to hide behind make believe names on FR and cast stones at fellow conservatives, but I'm curious to know which of you who are bashing Limbaugh have actually tried to make the legal argument through the court system. There are channels available to all citizens to make their legal case regarding Barry's BC; whining about Rush Limbaugh, and accusing fellow FReepers of being on Obomba's side for defending him, isn't one of them, so far as I know.
