Faith and family, I’d guess. Lots of good men have failed without them. Of the two though, I’d say faith is more important - faith in yourself, and even when you don’t have faith in yourself, faith in God, however imagined.

Thanks for the link - I’d never seen that scene, even with all the references to that movie going around these days.

As one who knows Glenn a little, and talked to him just a couple of weeks ago, I can tell you he has given this a LOT of thought and planning, and is no “silly move.” While the total viewership might not be what he had at his peak in Fox, he will structure something that in fact will be more lucrative than ever. I just hope to be a part of it.

**Glenn intends to transition off of his daily program, the third highest rated in all of cable news, later this year.**

Health reasons or is Beck searching for a bigger fish and more money?

DU will be going crazy, as they repeatedly have said they have taken away Glenn’s advertisers and THEY would make him leave.

I hope it’s not true, I really like his show.

I also hope it’s not because of a health problem, didn’t he say some time ago he was having some health problems and might even be going blind?

Glenn Beck is going off because of Dem boycott, and you are happy, you must be a lefty.

He loves Sarah Palin, the best.

Did I hear he might try to go the OPRAH route and start his own channel? Something like that.

I am not the greatest fan of Beck but he is more for us than against us and he is useful for the Conservative cause. He has much good info in areas that others do not tread. Hope he becomes a real Christian and stops messing with the Mormon "Church". It would do him an eternity of good and his thoughts and actions would be able to be subject to The Holy Spirit's control. I believe that he means well concerning his religion but he and his family definitely need to get off of the Mormon's merry go round of fantasy.

The dems did him in.

And I guess I'll just add—

Hey Fox, if this is your doing my DVR may just forget to record and give you that small ratings boost every night.

Also, I never understood Glenn becoming a Mormon, as a Catholic I hear a lot of the part of him brought up Catholic in what he says and believes. He names names and I like that.

Now it's time to do to Soros and MSNBC what they are trying to do to Conservatives. Enough is enough!

Hannity the coward who will not mention conservative social issues

Please clarify. I agree whole heartily about the others but Hannity does mention often many conservative social causes such as pro life. I know he is deluded about the bc issue but at least he says that BO should show his birth certificate. Hey, no one is perfect and if we renounce them because they are not exactly what we want them to be in exactly the way we want them to be on every issue we will become obsolete.

It seems that different people have their strengths. Hannity pounded and pounded away at all of Obama's dubious, communistic connections when everybody else ignored them. He did well.

Hannity is also a huge Sarah Palin fan and doesn't miss a chance to back her. He has guests on that we don't like but such as Rove etc. but when they say things that are contrary to Conservative base thought Hannity quickly stands up to them and pounds them about it.

I have never heard him ever mention the homosexual agenda, abortion etc.
Try as others and i have done on here to call him and tell the screener that you want to talk abotu don’t ask etc.

Guarantee that you will be told no.

Hannity is a coward and a phony and I got a message before when he had radio show in NY and he was a Liberterian but was asked to go conservative for a new contract

Still looking into that but it makes sense.

It;s also widely known on here about who Hannity really is and how he neevr mentions conservative principles

I totally agree; I found myself completely bummed out everyday-and I KNOW we need to know this stuff, but I HAD to stop watching daily.

Found myself watching old movies on TCM instead-talk about wishful thinking!

I even stopped listening to the radio show and saved all of my listening for Rush; he was all I could take. Along with FR of course.

We need a Good News Channel...but for now, I watch black & white movies...life was a lot simpler in black & white!

It's not Beck's fault if you don't pay attention.

GB September 16 2010:

"Now, there are certain things like abortion that is killing. That is killing. It’s what I believe. You don’t? Fine. We’ll have that debate. Just like people didn’t think slavery was evil. “Oh no, it’s not really, they’re not really people.” Oh. So we’re using the same argument with the unborn, that they’re not really people. Well, I’ll be happy to have that debate over the next fifty years, seventy years, however long it takes, before people wake-up to, yes, African-Americans were people and an unborn baby is people."

I quit watching Beck regularly awhile back, but I do think he provided a lot of valid, sometimes vital information that people really need to know. But I agree with you about Fox going downhill. It was obvious from the moment they gave Geraldo two nights in prime time—and now they hype his phony “firefight” footage. I still like Brit Hume and Brett Baier, but I’m mostly done with Fox for now. People have no place to turn for honest reporting currently.

Fox is calling it a partnership. Knowing Beck, this is only good.

I agree. I believe this is going to grow much, much bigger than just FOX news and Glen Beck alone. Beck has never been a small thinker.

I hope so. He's more than earned it. I know I'll be supporting him no matter where he goes. He's a good man.
