Holder said he is against the decision, as he said "he knew the case" and it should have been tried in NY. I thought back at how he let the New Black Panthers off the hook, and "he knew that case" also.

Obama in 2009 moved to end the Guantanamo war crime trials. Funny what a new election can do, to make "change" not happen as planned.

This is a political move by the President. The president and his crew have finally decided that the cannot get around the Congress. to gain lost votes IN 2010, they will hold the SHOW trials to inform independents and swinging Republicans they are tough on terrorists. Lastly, they need to bury this early in the 2012 election cycle to have the their liberal base begin to forget that they did nothing on closing GITMO and finish this chapter of the Global War on Terrorism . Their notification of the trials coincide with their opening of the Presidential reelection campaign. Again Symbolism over substance. I will be good to get the trials done but I will probably not like the out come.

I agree with you that far. I think this is all about Hitlery. This pained announcement from Steadman and running the lame 2012 ad for POTUS today are not coincidence. There is a reason for all of this and it is to move to the right of a Hitlery challenge. Obummers poll numbers are falling through the floor. He hasn't been above 50% solid for almost a year. If you think that this Gitmo issue will disappear before the election, you are wrong. These trials will be drug out all through the election season as a reminder of Obummers incompetence. The WH is in panic mode right now.

What is the mindset of these politicians, and other control freaks who keep bothering me? I just want my government to leave me alone. Yet they and others want to tell me what to eat, how our children should think, what beliefs are acceptable..on and on. I don't bother other people, but these people keep invading our lives. They need to go away. I'm awake now and not in the best of moods with them. I am an average man who is sick and tired of this nonsense.

I'm the type of person who would say hello to you on the street, I'm pleasant with people in general. I respect others who reciprocate. That's the beauty of this website. The citizen journalist. Everyday people who are free to express how we feel, without media censorship.

I converse with people, and tell them to visit this website. Many people are afraid more than anything in these uncertain times. Strike up a conversation, of course don't bother them. That's how true grassroots movements gain speed and momentem.

I'm not trying to score brownie points, but Mr. Robinson has truly created a free website. He has been attacked, sued, and yet perseveres. I'm going to be a regular donor. I am of modest means, but I'm willing to shave a little here and there if that's what it takes. It's worth every penny.
