He knew his actions were incitement. He most likely figured a few protests or riots, what he didn't imagine was blood being drawn for book burning.

So how do you know that posting something here on FR that is considered anti-Islamic won't incite riots? Believe me, if those people read many of the posts here, it's a lot more inflammatory than just burning a Koran.

I think you're wrong. He knew full well that what he did would result in death and the endangering of our troops and his need for attention for his infantile emotional outburst was more important to him than the lives of the troops who are protecting his freedom.
The idea that anyone on this board is defending him is utterly appalling to me.
