Oklahoma State Police shut down I-40 westbound temporarily because of a hole in a bridge.

The bridge is near MM325 in Muldrow.

A few cars had their tires blow out after driving over the hole.

Troopers say the hole in the bridge is due to construction.

No Injuries have been reported.

They built a hole in the bridge, how odd, hope they don’t import that to Texas.

Quick! Someone call Biden. I think we have found a shovel ready project.

This is a “Shovel Ready” project.

Where’s the $900 Billion?

Around here, they only close bridges if a lane is missing.

Must have some imported Yanqi union "workers" on the project. Probably that or Messkins doing the jobs Americans won't do.

Is this the bridge that collapsed in the night about 9 years ago?

They will put a steel plate over it and get around to fixing it about a year from now.

That was a bridge about 40 miles east near Webbers Falls, OK.

I've no idea if this is a file photo, but this is the one that accompanied the story:

Thanks; THAT’S going to leave a mark!

I’m surprised none of the state patrols, or state road crews didn’t see that on a MAJOR highway!

It looks small enough that one of those temporary metal plates you typically see over street construction digging could cover it completely. However, I can’t blame the highways department for wanting to examine the bridge well enough to determine if a much larger hole was about to cave in.
