MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald said he couldn't find any police agency that would enforce his order to forcibly detain the 14 senators who fled Wisconsin.
Memos and emails obtained by the Wisconsin State Journal from the offices of Fitzgerald and Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Ted Blazel show attorneys from three state agencies told Fitzgerald he was on shaky legal ground.

If it had been Democrats ordering the arrests or detention of fleeing Republicans the union -controlled police would have acted at once.
Government employees should never have been permitted to join unions.

Well Senator we need to learn from our mistakes. New Law: “Absence from more than 3 consecutive regular or special session quorum calls without written permission from the majority leader constitutes resignation from the body”.
That’d give them 3 days to have their little protest, then either get back to the job you were elected to do or go home, cuz you’re done.

Sounds like the police department needs a big
budget cut. No point sending money to people
who refuse to do the work they were paid to do.
Perhaps a private firm would do a better job.
