With that square chin, it looks more like a lion. And that would make sense in that land.

Thanks for the link!
With the NET, it’s getting harder and harder to pass of fakes
(or fake news, as CBS found out with Dan Rather...)

Everyone knows Jesus had blue eyes. I saw the picture myself!
To: Perdogg
Funny, He doesn’t LOOK Jewish.

Why metal?? So there's nothing comparable??
I can read one of the pages fairly well.
About some King named jack and some Queen named Jill. Jill killed the king by bashing him in the head with a bucket.
I wish they would publish more pages.

I don’t know who’s picture it is, but it may have functioned as an ancient waffle press.

FAKENot conclusive to me.
There are discrepancies between this article and the blog you linked. What language is really stamped in the metal? Greek (with misspellings) as your blog stated, or ancient Hebrew, as the article states? Why is the script so fresh and readable, while the portrait is nearly obliterated?
Whose face is depicted anyway? "The Savior of Israel" could refer to any number of people, depending on the time and place the plate was made, from King David to Ben Gurion.

As my former co-worker pointed out, Jesus must be showing off on that resurrection thing—you read about him getting shot every weekend in some neighborhoods.
