If it isn’t a Koran undergoing rapid thermal reduction it would be a Mohammed cartoon or some Mooslim babe not being allowed to wear a shish kebab to school. These savages are so committed to their 7th century culture that were an enlightened reformer ever to emerge he would be under a fartwa before you could say ‘stone him’.

This difference between a radical Mooslim & a moderate one - the radical blows up the towers, the moderate stands & applauds.

Explain to me why out of the entire world, one area in Afghanistan riots over this and kills UN workers.

Unfortunately the statement that we only care about muslims because of oil is incorrect. Afghanistan has no oil, 9-11 was planned from there. Pakistan is not a big oil producer. The problem is radical Islam, not oil. It’s the oil that allows all of this to cause possible oil disruptions.

Can’t really blame them for going so crazy. They have so little in their lives to keep them busy. If I lived in a plaster hut with a dirt floor and had nothing to do all day but to pray to allah I guess I could see why they would get so crazy if some guy 8000 miles away burned my favorite book—the only book I knew that existed. It’s really a pisser living in the 12th century.

"President Hamid Karzai expressed regret for the 20 protest deaths, but he also further stoked possible anti-foreign sentiment by again demanding that the United States and United Nations bring to justice the pastor of the Dove Outreach Center in Gainesville, Florida”

Is Karzai that stupid or is it just the fact that he’s a Muslim?

In Sharia law, once a person has been declared guilty of blasphemy, the punishment is not reserved to some official executioner -- it may be carried out by anybody who finds the guilty party.

I think Karzai may be masking what he's actually saying: Calling for the murder of Terry Jones by any Muslim able to carry out the action.

Yeah, the pastor is a jerk.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

This you had better explain. Slapping your enemy in the face, pissing in his water bucket or pulling down his house does not make you a "jerk." These spawns of Satan, these Muslims are our mortal enemies whether one is fully secular or a devout observer of any Judeo Christian or other non Islamic faith. Death and a pox be upon them.

We should have helped our allies the Soviets impose the worker’s paradise on these savages. Shore, Shirley, it’s 20/20 vision, but it’s right nonetheless. We’d all be cruising to visit Disneyland Kabul by now!

Correctamento!!!

Islam, as practiced by these fundamentalist whackos (who control whole countries)is not a religion in any sense of the word. It is an evil mix of politics, racism, sexism, and any of a hundred other vile and disgusting descriptive words all rolled into one putrid mess, masquerading as a religion.

We should afford them the same treatment that they do us.

The burning of a single Koran incites rioting and the death of 20 muzzies? Perhaps that church in FL has shown us a retaliatory method to repay them for items like the Ft. Hood massacre.......

These guys live on the longest one-way street in the world. When their Taliban buddies fired away at those Buddhist carvings in Bamiyan with field pieces, that was OK. However, when someone in FL burns a Koran, it’s “Death to the Infidels.”

Is Karzai that stupid or is it just the fact that he’s a Muslim? In the US there’s no justice to be administered for burining a book (or at least there hasn’t been). Of course we’ve seen a lot of firsts the last couple years.
Oh, for the joys of sharia.”

Why, then, are we wasting the lives of our soldiers, time, our nation’s treasure, and our breaths over there?

To support a government that believes as does this?

What is needed to win The West’s struggle with the Islamic world is obvious: a literal “re-colonization” of Islamic territories, the removal of Islamic governments, military rule (American or Western European), the banning of the practice of Islam (was not Nazism essentially banned in postwar Germany?) and the mass conversion of the populations to Christianity. It would take 75-150 years, but unless this is done, Islam will keep growing as The West continues to cower.

I’ve seen little since September 11, 2001 to convince me that The West is winning.

In fact, I’ve seen little that indicates that The West even WANTS to win.

Just sayin’....

I started off thinking the pastor was a jerk. I am more and more coming around to thinking he has provided a valuable public service. He is revealing who believes in free speech and true liberty, and who believes in the so-called right to not be offended.

Many of our supposed Western brethren are coming out for the latter, which means they don’t really believe in the former.

Steyn discusses this some here:

“Islam is not being attacked by an entire country or an entire religion, Islam is only being attacked by a radical.

Isn't it strange how if one nut in Florida burns a quran, then it's death to America. However, when many islamic radicals are killing americans we should only blame the individuals and the rest of islam is not involved.
