US Government:
Jobs report rosy
Inflation low.
Truth lost
To: Red Badger
They better be careful with their propaganda.
Those sitting on the sidelines (who are currently not counted) may see some hope and enter job-seeking market, sending the unemployment rate soaring.

I wonder how many of these new jobs are in GOVERNMENT?............... I wouldn't be surprised if the government number (including state and local) is a negative one or at worst even.

"We were expecting to celebrate New Year's and instead got slapped with a pink slip," said Bill Cheney, chief economist at John Hancock Financial Services. January, 2004: Unemployment drops to 5.7%
I love reading jobs reports from the good old days.

My wife works with 2 people whose husbands are still looking for work for at least an over year.. If the numbers are still going down if gas reaches 4.00 then something stinks.

Why don't they put "jobless rate falls to zero", they are pulling the numbers out of their asses anyway.
I don't watch t.v. news, read or buy newspapers, and when listening to the radio, when a newscast comes on, I turn off the radio until it is over.

“The headline unemployment rate has nothing really to do with actual job creation.”
That's for sure. If you have given up looking for work, you are no longer unemployed in this bizarre and meaningless statistic.

The fed and abc reported this morning... 8.9% unemployment... we know that even that is a lie but this 8.8% lie is a huge lie.

“One reason for the lower unemployment rate is that many people who stopped looking for a job during the recession still aren’t looking for one. So they’re not counted as unemployed. The proportion of people who either have a job or are looking for one is surprisingly low for this stage of the recovery.
If many of them start looking for work again, they will be counted as unemployed. So the unemployment rate could go up, even if the economy adds jobs.”

This is an old tactic - dangle something shiny in front of the Media to distract them from the multitude of ongoing disasters..... They don';t have to be distracted. It's not as though they were actively researching and analysing and seeking out the truth. The media is the propoganda arm of the democrat party. Plain and simple. The democrats lie and the media swears to it.
