Wisconsin GOP Will Ignore Injunction, Implement Collective Bargaining Law Doug Mataconis · Thursday, March 31, 2011 · 9 Comments
Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and his Administration are setting themselves up for a showdown with the states judiciary with their decision to implement the provisions of the recently passed collective bargaining law despite the fact that a state trial court judge has ordered that it not be implemented:
State officials have not stopped putting in place changes to collective bargaining rules for public employees despite a judges order barring the laws implementation and a threat of sanctions against anyone who violates it.

Voters vs the Judiciary.
Good for them.
Defund the judges position. That would be fabulous.
Voters vs the Judiciary.
voters vs a biased COUNTY judge trying to suppress will of people... hear that her son works for union and her husband gave money to the fleeing 14 senators..
Today’s judge is often no different than the abortionist that calls himself a doctor.
The judge’s decision that there was a problem with the ‘manner’ in which the law passed should be ignored
The judge is NOT a "state trial" judge. She is a county judge and I fail to see how she has any authority over the legislation passed by the state.
I’d call that a conflict of interest and ruling was bias. Seems like WI is leading the country back to normalcy. Thank you WI GOP and all those who voted for them!
Walker to Sumi: “what part of ‘co-equal branches’ isn’t clear”?
I wonder what kind of control the legislature has over the establishment of judicial districts and judicial salaries? Wouldn’t it be cool to just decree that her position no longer exists?
This article is a blog post by a D.C.-area lawyer with no apparent connection to Wisconsin or knowledge of events here, and is based on outdated information from before Sumi’s Thursday order.
More recently, the Walker administration has agreed to stop implementation of the law (for the time being), as reported here:

Ah, heck!
(Thanks for pointing that out)
The only thing that would make this better than it is right now is for Walker to send a platoon of National Guard troops to her court room, cuff her, and take her off to jail where she surely belongs!
Like a traffic court judge saying that the people of the United States can’t elect a republican because the election wasn’t fair.
Who cares?

I'm glad the entire country can see how the Democrat party operates.
The reason she gives is that somehow an open meetings law was violated - a meeting rat lawmakers illegally fled the state not to attend.
Ok. Not a problem... start laying off workers, or declare bankruptcy and renegotiate all contracts for state workers. Face it, the state of Wisconsin is broke!

They need to find a union member who wants the money that the unions have been stealing from his paycheck to sue to keep it. File the suit in a county that is not controlled by the thugs. Issue a ruling that the law must be enforced. And tell the union thug judge to shut up. Maybe pass a law that takes away her internet, computer, paper and ink so she can’t write crap any more.
That says the decision was based on politics. The judge should be booted.
Just another liberal = (communist) judge, attempting to legislate from the bench, by overruling the vote of the people.
How do you say impeach?
