WASHINGTON – Despite fresh pressure from tea party conservatives, House Speaker John Boehner said Thursday that Republicans "can't impose our will" on the White House and Senate Democrats on legislation to cut tens of billions of dollars in federal spending.

At a news conference, Boehner, R-Ohio, denied Democratic suggestions that he has already agreed to jettison nearly half of the $61 billion in cuts passed by the House a month ago

I am so absolutely fed up with this guy . . . a total RINO . . . lots of talk and no action. By now the government should be shut down and Obambicare should be TOTALLY unfunded.

I knew he’d cave in to the established order in D.C. He’s no better than any dummycrat that he’s in line with. How awful that he has let us down so miserably.

Boehner is a limp d*ck.

He has chicken lips.

Were he uglier and much more stupid, he could be Harry Reid.

“can’t impose our will” ....

Oh yes you can and that’s what you were elected to do. Deny that fact at your political peril.

Boehner = sniveling
Boehner = crybaby
Boehner = coward
Boehner = little pussy

Screw the GOP. Counting on the ballot box as an avenue of “change” in our government is simply wishful thinking, IMO.

The Tea Party will likely not be an effective alternative in time to save this country from the direction the federal government is heading, IMO.

Well said. That is exactly what he was sent there to do. The measly 32 billion they are sweating bullets over is less than 1% of the budget and only 2% of the frigging deficit!

CUT! CUT! CUT!

Or get fired in 20 months, John.

John Boehner said Thursday that Republicans "can't impose our will" on the White House and Senate Democrats on legislation to cut tens of billions of dollars in federal spending.

RIght, John, that's why you're the Speaker of the House, where Spending originates. You really, really don't get it, do you?

Exactly how did you get to BE Speaker of the House, John? Or did your crying jag make you forget about the Tea Party patriots who gave the pubbies a majority? HMMMMMMM?

Seems like it to me. Let' find a new Speaker, shall we?

I’m not surprised. Boo-Hoo Boner is a coward just like the rest of them. They’re so afraid they’ll be “blamed” for shutting down the government they’re willing to destroy this nation.

I guess I was right not to bet so excited about the election.

We need to get rid of every darned one of the spineless Republicans...talk about a disgusting bunch...they are no better than the stupid Dems....at least they seem to have spines, tho they are a bunch of Socialist/Marxist lovers. I'm sick of both parties and for sure, that bunch in Washington need to be VOTED OUT....

What many conservatives need to understand, and still don’t, is that the dems cannot allow for reduced spending. This is life and death for them. Once the camel gets his nose in the tent and then people see that the world did not collapse and thousands of children did not die, then it will be easier to cut even more spending. Thus the death throws begin for big govt.
Actually I just believe that Nancy has pictures of the speaker with domesticated sheep or goats.

Meant to type “get” instead of bet.

Excuse me, but what do you mean, “conservatives” don’t understand that? It’s the entrenched so-called leaders of the STUPID PARTY that don’t understand it!

Guess Boehner is planning not to run next year. If he caves on cutting spending, there is no reason to have him in the House.

Agree. I said back before the vote that Boehner was not qualified to be Speaker of the House. He believed it was ‘his’ because he’s been there so long. Much like McCain with his candidacy for president.

Beohner I knew last year would never stand up for what the people, let alone conservatives wanted.

I think the House Pubbies need to revolt and take back their vote ... tell Boehner they want a re-do!
