Are you one of them small-gubmint conservative weirdos? A critter who cringes when someone tells you they're from the government and there to help you? Well, answer this: are you, or have you ever been . . . a fan of The A-Team?
Because, yes: one of Rachel Maddow's guests has, with a straight face, advanced the argument that Mr. T and company were complicit in undermining Americans' belief in the benign powers of government. David Sirota made an appearance with Maddow on her MSNBC show this evening to promote his book that advances the A-List-as-enemy-of-government-love theory.

and I bet nobody died in any of the episodes ?
Better to blame Conservative and patriot Dwight Schultz than the TV show. The guy is great!
It rolls off my back. Ridicule doesn’t mean anything - even from people you’re supposed to wear knee pads around, like the scientific community.

Last night I watched the one where Face marries the heiress so her scum fiancee couldn’t. It turned out that he had killed her father and her father had taped the murder on a secret tape recorder under his desk. But no, nobody died on screen...
BTW, did you know that there was a different person playing Face in the two hour premier episode?
(Ten years ago / In 1972), a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn’t commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire... The A-Team.
and here I thought I’d made the A-list. Shot down again :(
