This polling company tends to oversample democrats.
The Kenyan will take the blame for the gov shutdown.Great post - really sums it up.During the past two weeks, the Kenyan has played golf, vacationed in Rio and provided air support for al Qaeda in Libya, attended a big fund raiser in NYC. Spent time on the budget? Nah...
Doesnt help that Biden is skiiing in Aspen and locking reporters in closets at fund raisers in Fla.
They took them off out of embarrassment but I'll bet they STILL vote for him.
You also have to remember that only 25% of Americans think the country is headed in the right direction. If that number is even remotely close to 25% in November 2012, I find it hard to believe Obama could legitimately win a second term. Only thru massive voter fraud can he win.
How about: He is destroying the fabric of the traditional American Society?
You can fool some of the people all the time, and those are the ones you want to concentrate on. - George W. Bush
I wonder what the real numbers look like?
Key stat:
Does Obama deserve re-election:
Among WHITE voters:
Yes: 34%
No: 57%
If this gap does not narrow significantly over the next 21 months, Obama is toast and he could well be blown out.
Remember a re-election campaign is a referendum on the incumbent and not the challenger.
Hell, he didn't 'legitimately' win a first term!.................
It'll soon become ingrained in their consciousnesses and no amount of marijuana will be able to erase it.
“Im surprised his approval rating is that high. Who are the fools who actually like him?”
Blacks give the Kenyan a hard 13-15% approval base.
So at 42% approval take away 15 and his real approval is 27%
I’m hearing criticism for Libya coming from my otherwise staunch Democrat family. Never heard THAT before!
Over $60 to fill up my car yesterday - just the way Obama wants it.
Either zero is evil or a moron....or both. Either way, he’s breaking us.
Key stats: Does Obama deserve to be re-elected?
YES NO
OVERALL 41 50
INDIES 37 52
WHITE 34 57
$50000-$100000/YR38 54
MODERATES 45 42
WHITES
BORN AGAIN/EVANG 18 74
PROTESTANT(MAINL)24 68
ROMAN CATH 35 55
Obama’s numbers in all these categories are are way down from his 2008 vote percentages.
Especially striking is that he is down 15 points among INDEPENDENT voters and 15 points among MODERATES.
Although on the face of it this is good news we need to be cautious with our enthusiasm for a number of reasons.
1. it is not close to the election at all and anything can happen between now and election day to get this guys numbers up (or down for that matter).
2. He is going to have BOATLOADS of money to throw at a campaign.
3. He probably wont have a primary fight while our side will have a big, splintered, probably harsh primary (at least this is how it looks today).
We should watch the trends and see if his numbers continue to tank and hopefully they will continue to do so right through election day. The weaker this guys numbers are on election day the more Dem Senators and Congressmen will lose on election day.
He will only run for a second term after he manufactures a pristine forgery of a long form birth certificate.
Obama isn’t made of teflon, he’s just covered in 3 ft. thick media insulation.
I agree that many on the left who sat out in ‘10 will return and vote for him in ‘12, but I don’t think the enthusiasm the second time around is going to be anywhere near what it was in ‘08. There truly is a lot of disillusionment among his base, even if most of them are reluctant to openly admit it.
I agree! Dipping into the oil reserves, manipulating unemployment numbers right before election time will be enough to change 5%.
