President Barack Obamas approval rating and prospects for reelection have plunged to all-time lows in a Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday.
Half of the registered voters surveyed for the poll think that the president does not deserve a second term in office, while 41 percent say he does. In another Quinnipiac poll released just four weeks ago, 45 percent said the president did not deserve reelection, while 47 percent said he did.
The decline in support for a second Obama term comes as his approval rating has dropped 4 percentage points since early March, landing at 42 percent a record low in the poll released Wednesday. His disapproval rating has risen from 46 percent to 48 percent.

Looking forward to Obama’s loss, impeachment or not seeking a second term.
The state-run media will lay low in the weeds until his approval ratings come up one or two points. They will then trumpet his “soaring” approval rate. If they had any integrity, they would be ashamed of their blatant bias.
Rasmussen will have him back to 49% in no time...they guy has more teflon in his poll numbers than slick willie jefferson clinton did...
Very good news, but I would rather read about his impeachment hitting a new high. sigh
The Left is turning on him because he is now officially a “warmonger”.
The rest are turning on him based on their gasoline and grocery bills.
This is not good news... 80 plus percent of dims support him... 45% of ALL Americans support him... approve his agenda... this is NOT good news.

I believe it. Even here inside the D.C. Capital Beltway, which is the very heart of Obamaville, it’s getting harder and harder to find Obama bumper stickers, where not that long ago I was still seeing them almost every day. The thrill has definitely worn off.
The Kenyan will take the blame for the gov shutdown.
During the past two weeks, the Kenyan has played golf, vacationed in Rio and provided air support for al Qaeda in Libya, attended a big fund raiser in NYC. Spent time on the budget? Nah...
Doesn’t help that Biden is skiiing in Aspen and locking reporters in closets at fund raisers in Fla.
You mean his great speech the media have been fawning over and Anthony Weiner head said on CNN Obama’s poll numbers will go up after didn’t work?
Color me shocked HitlerObama has lost his magic.
How will the media spin this? They just won’t report it and they will go back to MO’s garden and her stylish dresses.
I’m surprised his approval rating is that high. Who are the fools who actually like him?
looks like they forgot to mask their polling samples and actually polled a more representative breakdown of the population, instead of a skewed selection of Obamaunists. Someone probably got a sternly worded e-mail and won’t get their invite to the next party.
I suspect that approval number will not sink a whole lot more. He has a base that voted for him for reasons completely unrelated to how qualified he is for the job or his ability to carry out the duties of the office. It would not surprise me to see it bottom out at 40%. A sad commentary on what has happened to America.
I just wonder who they poll if 47% or so think this guy deserves a second term. New nickname for AF One. I now call it Vacation One.

Very good news. This is a left leaning polling group, isn’t it?
