St. Louis, Kansas City, Portland, military bases, oil storage facilities, oil refineries, nuclear power plants, conventional power plants, airports, landmarks, etc.

Plenty of targets.

I will tell you what, if my liberal FB friends are any indicator Obama is in big trouble. One thing they are consistent about is they hate war no matter what. Lybia is a “turd in the punch bowl” that cannot be sold.

Then why are they sending lame letters instead of detonating the damn things? Why _isn’t_ CNN screaming about radioactive clouds already?

Answer: because it’s all BS. The minute they have the ability they’ll scream “Allah Akbar” and press the trigger. Until then, they don’t.

Yeah I agree with that. And isn’t that the truth, the elevated levels scenario.

“Agencies in Oregon...”

Ah, yes...the one city to turn down a relationship with the Joint Terrorism Task Force. The city that almost had the Christmas tree bomber. The city that has just recently rejected...once again...membership with the JTTF.

But...I don’t think this is legit. They don’t telegraph this stuff. They want it to be a surprise.

Ok but a nuc will take more than just one facility it’ll take out an entire area - so again 140? You’ll get the power plants/military base/transportation/etc all in one go

HA, I didn’t know they had had a falling out, but I’m glad if they did. They were working together on setting up the ME to burn, but Billy and Bernardine probably didn’t figure on zero backing France and the UK and bombing ARAB civilians for the white European oil source.

Billy Ayers wanted to kill 25 million American civilians back in the day, but then that would be different I guess because that would have been Americans...

Tacticalogic, I agree totally that they’d sacrifice the little toad (along with his family if it would have a bigger impact) in a heartbeat if they thought it would advance “the cause”. Soros would be right on board for it too, especially as he still has Hillary warming up in the bullpen so to speak.

It depends on the yield of the weapon; all nukes are not created equal. Megaton-yield weapons, while highly effective, are more difficult to acquire, smuggle, and hide. Also, they contaminate a far wider area; not something you want if you intend to later colonize the area you have destroyed. Kiloton and fractional-kiloton yield weapons are much more portable and, given the scenario, plausible. These are very effective when used strategically.

Considering our porous southern border, I do not agree that the scenario is less plausible. Nor, in fact, that it would be difficult to find an infrastructure capable of building the switches willing to do so and also provide technical guidance. Considering the vast number of nations who wish to see harm come to the USA, I do not think the scenario the least bit implausible, nor difficult to imagine.

It is extremely dangerous to lump them all together with the imbeciles who had no clue about a humorous article. They are not all alike, nor are they all stupid. It is dangerous to underestimate the enemy.

Guerilla marketing! Stir up the hysteria first, play off of the Fukushima disaster, and leverage that to multiply the (non)-effect of your weak-ass dirty bomb.

Or. Maybe it's all bs.

When your gambling options are:
- a 100% chance of winning a one billion dollar payout
- a 50% chance of winning a two billion dollar payout
You go for the sure billion.

Same reason with terrorists with nukes: if you’re a terrorist and you’ve got one, you detonate it NOW, you don’t try to leverage it further with the significant chance of losing the opportunity.

I remember once hearing that we have special machines that can detect nuclear devices in an area. Does anyone else know about this?

Islam requires that you give the warnings. OBL was critcized for not giving the warnings prior to 911 by Islamic scholars. He has since been giving warnings pursuant to his faith even if there hasn’t been a meaning terrorist attack in the US since 911. The warnings aren’t “ change your ways or we will take down the World Trade Center” if that is what you are looking for. Instead, they are more general types of warnings.
