Tax the Super Rich now or face a revolution
Market Watch ^ | March 29, 2011 | Paul B. Farrell

Yes, tax the Super Rich. Tax them now. Before the other 99% rise up, trigger a new American Revolution, a meltdown and the Great Depression 2.

We know the Super Rich don’t care. Not about you. Nor the American public. They can’t see. Can’t hear. Stay trapped in their Forbes-400 bubble. An echo chamber that isolates them. They see the public as faceless workers, customers, taxpayers. See GOP power on the ascent. Reaganomics is back. Unions on the run. Clueless masses are easily manipulated.

Even Obama is secretly working with the GOP, will never touch his Super Rich donors. Yes, the Super-Rich Delusion is that powerful, infecting all America.

Here’s how one savvy insider who knows described this Super-Rich Delusion: “The top 1% live privileged lives, aren’t worried about much. Families vacation at the best resorts. Their big concerns are finding the best Pilates teacher, best masseuse, best surgeons, best private schools. They aren’t concerned with the underlying deterioration of America or the world, except in the abstract, because they aren’t directly affected by it. That’s not to say they aren’t sympathetic, aware, or don’t talk about the issues you bring up. They are largely concerned with protecting and enhancing their socio-economic positions, ensuring their families live well. And nothing you write about will change things.”

I’ve cleared out my sunflower patch, out by the back fence. There’s one sunflower coming up already, and two in the front flowerbed (probably from bird seed). Now I’m going to trim the holly bushes.

That’s way too enegetic for me. I slept in this morning (5:45) and I’m still very tired. Tomorrow is my ultra sound, and I’m not supposed to eat anything today that is a dairy product or greasy or fried. Huh.

Looks like I’ll be fasting...

Unnngh. Effort made on the hollies, and more weeding in the front. There’s a limit to what I can accomplish until the mowing and edging crew has done it’s duty.

I’m hearing lots of electric guitarzifying from upstairs.

Deaf June just came and demanded her car keys back, accusing me of denting it up. I told her if I had done it, I would have called her immediately. So Shank’s Ponies are in service once again. No ultra sound for me tomorrow....

Ugh and ugh.

I slept in this morning too. 8 o'clock. Needed the sleep though. Now... lots of little things to do at work.

I pray that Deaf June repents and asks your forgiveness for falsely accusing you. Lord, please give her a heart transplant!

Stephen and Laureen Harper were invited, and accepted, but I don’t think they are going now that an election has been called for May 2.

Sion, a link for you.

Hmmm.

A breast of chicken baked in a covered dish on a bed of onions (for moisture), with a bit of lemon juice, dry mustard powder, and pepper on it. Maybe throw a couple of carrots on either side too.
Bake 1 1/4 hrs at 325.

Chop up a sweet potato, boil or steam it, then add some cinnamon, and serve with the chicken dish? Or boil some rice in water with some soya sauce in it?

Doesn’t your city have a service for those things?

...but I strongly agree that the super rich need to pay more of their share.

And just what arbitrary number would you pull out of your ass to make that share. You do know that the top 1% of wage earners in America pay about 30% of all income tax, right Rex? What do you reckon would be their share? The way I see it their share would be 1%, but then I'm not a liberal thieving commie and rely on reality and reason for making value judgments and not emotion.

I’m going to send her a thank you card for her generosity. The rest is up to her. At least I have asked God to forgive her.

At any rate, I now have no way to get to the doctor’s office.

I left the house at 9:00 and walked to the post orifice (25 minutes) walked to Walmart (7 minutes) got my prescription (5 minutes) and walked to the nearest bus stop (12 minutes) and waited 25 minutes for a 4 minute ride home. My legs were too tired to walk back home.

That sounds good but I would have to go to the store to buy the stuff. It’s been rendered moot, at any rate.

There is a service, but I’ve been black-balled from it. I worked for the company, and they didn’t like me, so they refused service.

Bad news all around. At least you can eat now.

Just got a notice from the office...if my patio isn’t cleaned by the 11th, they will give me an eviction notice. My apartment is now a safety hazard for me. I can’t win today. Someone please shoot me.

Had a battle scene written for the section of the song around 3 minutes 40 seconds in.
I seem to have misplaced it.
