A museum dedicated to Holocaust victim Anne Frank is expected to move almost next door to the proposed controversial mosque at Ground Zero, it was revealed today.
The Anne Frank Center is reported to be about to sign a lease in the 20-floor glass and steel tower at 100 Church St.
The building's windows overlook Park 51, the planned 16-storey Muslim community centre and mosque at 45 park Place, just two blocks from Ground Zero.

But the museum needs more room and last year advertised for larger premises so it could recreate the secret room where the Jewish teen wrote her famous diary.

I disagree with you. She is not just a specific victim whos remembrances should be restricted to specific locations. This little innocent girl represents All Innocence. The message of her story, and her short life is, If this sort of thing could happen to this little girl who was a threat to nobody, it could happen to us all. And not just in 1944, and not just in Europe, and not just Jews.
That is why the book about her was required reading in many American schools. Not to learn about one girl, but to learn about the struggle we all have, the old and the young to remain free.
