Liars!!! Our vehicles are very very clean. Go to a 3rd world country. Go to Mexico City or Bangkok and you will choke on the vehicle pollution plus they use cheaper high sulfur gasoline

What is a "clean vehicle"? An electric vehicle isn't any "cleaner" than one powered by gasoline. The difference is the coal/oil/natural gas used to generate the power to charge the battery was simply burned in location away from the vehicle. Further, there was a loss of energy value in the transmission lines and efficiency of charging the chemical battery. What becomes of the chemical battery at the end of the service life of the vehicle?

This is called a diversionary tactic in the military.

Attempt to get the enemy (in the stain's view, that would be the mass of the American people) to concentrate on anything other than what is actually going on.

Get them to fight with each other....set their hair on fire regarding issues on which they are virtually powerless to change, but get deeply emotionally involved in.

Or...give them something to "salivate" over...that simply cannot be argued about and the realization of which would make all their lives so very much better (who wouldn't want to end hunger in the US, ey??); but of course something which is completely unattainable in their lifetime and the lifetimes of the next 5 generations.

Then...as they are all running around singing the stains praises or fighting with each other, the stain and his handlers continue right along with the crap, filth, waste, ruin, criminality, bribery, socialism, graft, and corruption.

The stain needs to be removed from office NOW.

And isn't it a crying shame that our dear rinos simply cannot find it within themselves to put forth a proactive energy plan thereby putting the dem/lib/prog/pops into the defensive and reactive mode?????

One has to wonder exactly where the leadership is within the rino group. Actually, where the proactive leadership is within the elected rino/repub/indep/conserv group!

All they ever do is react...and 95% of the time, react poorly.

What a damned waste.

I just got a company e-mail this a.m. looking for 40 people from our work to attend this rally! I would attend but I don’t think I would be able to contain my disgust for this man. Could be very ugly..........

Obama’s agenda is to destroy America. This is just one way.

'Green' transportation:

"Let's ride with the family down the street
Through the courtesy of Fred's Barack's two feet"

As an aside, this reminds me of an old FReeper tagline: 'Ted Kennedy wants you to live like the Flintstones, while he lives like the Jetsons'

If he mentions signing a directive to have all government vehicles powered by CNG (compressed natural gas), that would be a good policy choice for once, and one that makes sense.

It would finally get CNG vehicles in the pipeline to the general public. The U.S. has a proven 100 year supply and estimated 300 year reserve of Natural Gas.

Chavez and the Sand Countries can pound their own sand.

The Republicans had their chance to bring this policy forward....nothing but silence.

I’m still waiting for his pivot to jobs, which he said he’d focus like a laser on for the past 2+ years.

A sportute that can carry 8 adults and their luggage is a lot cleaner than the three Pious' that you would need otherwise.

(Unless my kids are in the backseat, then you would need a garbage bag, vacuum, upholstery cleaner, etc.)

“and then tout advanced vehicles Friday”

And exactly how will that help Americans struggling with high gas prices? If we can’t afford gas, then how can be afford to replace a billion cars and trucks with “advanced vehicles”?

Thanks Nachum. G'night all.
Wednesday's speech at Georgetown University will mark Obama's second high-profile remarks this month on energy. He addressed increased oil and gasoline prices at a March 11 press conference.
