I grew up in New York (upstate) and there is one thing everyone should realize.
Birth certificates issued in New York City are a separate and distinct thing from birth certificates issued for the rest of the state. Outside of NYC, if you want your birth certificate, you contact the NYS Dept of Vital Statistics in Albany.
If you were born in NYC, you contact one of the five Burroughs, because NYC maintains it’s own system of records.

Am I missing something? That’s not a birth certificate issued by the state of New York. It looks like it was given out by the hospital itself. Under any of the legislation being considered by the various states, this would not qualify as proof of natural born citizenship.
Who gives a crap about Trump’s Birth Certificate. If Obama does not have one, this does not qualify Trump for President.

I don't know if anyone else has said it yet, but this IS NOT a CERTIFIED Certificate of Live Birth. This is a HOSPITAL Certificate with a gold seal that hospitals gave out for many years but quit doing so (I am not exactly sure when) because people thought they were their actual Birth Certificate.
My daughter was born in the 50's and I thought that Hospital Certificate (hers had a foot print) was actually her Birth Certificate, but when she went to get a passport it was NOT accepted and she had to go through the Health Dept. to get a CERTIFIED COPY of her birth.
I notice that Trump’s Birth Certificate does not include the name of the attending physician...
