Bill Ayers Admits For Second Time He Wrote Obama's 'Dreams From My Father'

For the second time in less than eighteen months, domestic terrorist Bill Ayers admitted he wrote Barack Obama's book "Dreams From My Father."

This time, it was recorded on videotape as he was speaking last Thursday at Montclair State University (video follows with partial transcript and commentary):

UNKNOWN QUESTIONER: Time magazine columnist Joe Klein wrote that President Obama’s book “Dreams From My Father” quote “may be the best written memoir ever produced by an American politician.”

BILL AYERS: I agree with that.

QUESTIONER: What is your opinion of Barack Obama’s style as a writer?

AYERS: I think the first book is very good. The second one was more of a political hack book, but the first book’s quite good.

QUESTIONER: Right, and also, you mentioned about the Pentagon and…

AYERS: Did you know I wrote it?

QUESTIONER: What’s that?

AYERS: I wrote “Dreams From My Father.”

CROWD: We know that.

QUESTIONER: You wrote that?

AYERS: Yeah, and if you could help me prove it, I’ll split the royalties with you.

Sounds like Ayers using sarcasm to suppress suspicion, i.e. make a joke out of it, Alinsky-style.

But to me the mention of “royalties” is a key. All those leftoids are money mad and Ayers has to resent Obama getting 100% of the royalties when 0 surely didn’t do 100% of the writing.

If you accept Cashill’s style analysis, which I do.

(The genuine writings we have from 0 show him to be a very clumsy writer. “Dreams” reflects the work of someone experienced with genuine literary skill. Ayers fits the bill.)

Agree.

But listen to it again and listen to the audience, a woman says "we know" and others make comments which are inaudible. They then laugh when he jokes about 'proving it' so as to collect royalties. I sensed that the audience took it as fact that he wrote it and that the joke is on us because we cannot prove it.

OK, I haven't read the book and I'm certainly no expert or even knowledgeable on literary topics. But from what I've read and heard, it's nearly impossible to believe Obama wrote the book. The book is supposed to have a high literary style despite the fact the substance may be junk. However no one can find any other work of Obama's which has this same quality. To the extent that anyone can find anything at all, Obama's writing is borderline childish. He's the only president of the Harvard Law Review who never wrote an article for the Review. Very unusual.

Billy makes this “joke” to anyone who’ll listen. He loves bringing it up. He loves that he’s finally getting some credit for the best book he’s ever written.

The way he praised “Dreams” and trashes “Audacity” tells you all you really need to know. He wrote the book, adores the adulation and wants the credit. Otherwise, he’d dismiss the theory and let it die.

BTW, if you haven’t read Cashill’s “Decontructing Obama”, do so. It’s brilliant.

Ayers is speaking the truth, knowing that it is the best way for him to be perceived as lying. He is a trained liar who knows most people assume there is a lie in anything a liberal says, so to cover up the truth, he told the truth as though it were a lie.

I don’t know anything about the place except I think it was mentioned on “The Soprano’s” a time or two. But aren’t most “institutions of higher learning” left- leaning nowadays?

And isn’t Ayers an acclaimed “education expert?”
