As a candidate for POTUS, he would certainly have the standing that all others have been denied.

Alan Keyes really did run for president, yet was denied "standing" to sue over this issue. What makes you think that Trump would be any more successful?

I stand corrected about Alan Keyes.

Nothing makes me think Trump would be any more successful than Keyes was except the hope that the climate has changes regarding this issue and that the SCOTUS would be more receptive to hearing this case. Maybe Trump has more light on him than Keyes does. Maybe he’s richer. I don’t know. I just hope that Trump has dynamited the logjam that has held up this issue from coming to the fore. At least he’s not affraid of forcing the issue. For what purpose, only Trump knows. More power to him.

Keyes was denied standing because he was not on the ballot in all 50 States, thus it was determined he had no credible chance of winning. McCain/Palin certainly would have standing.
