I stand corrected about Alan Keyes.
Nothing makes me think Trump would be any more successful than Keyes was except the hope that the climate has changes regarding this issue and that the SCOTUS would be more receptive to hearing this case. Maybe Trump has more light on him than Keyes does. Maybe he’s richer. I don’t know. I just hope that Trump has dynamited the logjam that has held up this issue from coming to the fore. At least he’s not affraid of forcing the issue. For what purpose, only Trump knows. More power to him.
I suspect that Trump has less "light" on Obama's eligibility question than Keyes does, but what's most important here, is that Trump can bring attention to the issue that Keyes can't.
Dynamiting the logjam (as you put it) is the one thing that no one has been able to do, until now. We will see whether Trump's efforts to get people seriously discussing this topic have any real effect. Hopefully, he's blown such a hole in the thing, that a steady stream of respected names begin openly talking about it.
