Genius at Work (Big Bang Theory Disproven by 12-year-old boy)
http://www.theblaze.com/stories/a-beautiful-mind-12-year-old-boy-genius-sets-out-to-disprove-big-bang/ ^

At 12-years-old, Jacob Barnett is a genius. He’s already in college, his IQ is higher than Einstein’s, and for fun he‘s working on an expanded version of that man’s theory of relativity. So far, the signs are good. Professors are astounded. So what else does a boy genius with vast brilliance do in his free time? Disprove the big bang, of course.

Original Story is below:

http://www.indystar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2011103200369

When Jacob Barnett first learned about the Schrödinger equation for quantum mechanics, he could hardly contain himself.

For three straight days, his little brain buzzed with mathematical functions.

From within his 12-year-old, mildly autistic mind, there gradually flowed long strings of pluses, minuses, funky letters and upside-down triangles -- a tapestry of complicated symbols that few can understand.

He grabbed his pencil and filled every sheet of paper before grabbing a marker and filling up a dry erase board that hangs in his bedroom. With a single-minded obsession, he kept on, eventually marking up every window in the home.

Strange, say some.

Genius, say others.

But entirely normal for Jacob, a child prodigy who used to crunch his cereal while calculating the volume of the cereal box in his head.

***

"The theory that he's working on involves several of the toughest problems in astrophysics and theoretical physics.

"Anyone who solves these will be in line for a Nobel Prize."

The vast majority of space is plasma

Something that our ancestors called the 'aether'.

Scientists proclaimed it didn't exist, now, it is known as 'dark matter' and 'dark energy'.

They say the reason is they can't account for all the matter needed for our Universe to 'exist'.

Seems to me the real problem is they can't SEE all the matter. We are just now starting to recognize that it is possible many stars have planets, maybe all of them. And asteroid belts, and rings around planets.

Maybe there's just a lot of matter there, and we just can't see it.

How long did it take us to find out that Saturn wasn't the only planet in our solar system with rings ?

Maybe autistic — maybe just trying desperately to tune out all the (relatively) moronic bozos around him.

I think the particle to which you are referring is the bosonic moron, otherwise known as the "Oh My G_d" particle.

To pronounce is properly, slap your forehead or facepalm while saying the name.

I have a friend with a son like that. I used to teach him in Sunday School. He was so far above everyone he would act out. He’s a great kid now. At 14, he has been given a full ride to Med School. His parents are keeping him in high school for now.

Space/time isn't linear. Our perception of it is. This could create all kinds of interesting 4D phenomena that would screw up observational data. Think of a cluster of galaxies completely knotting the local gravity to a point where anyone trying to observe light "through" the cluster would actually end up looking at something 90 degrees to your line of sight...

Couple that with your "dark" matter, virtual photon/particle pairs, and the Gods alone know what else... We have no real clue what the Universe looks like or what it may be doing while we sleep.

My bets on a re-cyclic Universe that is neither expanding, nor contracting, but is simply in motion constantly.

Say, that’s a good question. We’re told that the universe had to work through multiple generations of stars to generate the heavier elements. But if things were so hot and dense right at the beginning, why not then?

What makes so many presume that the IQ of such men could be accurately gauged?

It does seem ridiculous for academic IQ-test-writers to presume that they can create tests that will accurately measure the abilities of people dramatically smarter than themselves.

Even after 40+ years of listening to Donovan’s songs, I still don’t understand them.

I never heard of him until post #10 and I didn't understand what was written there.

I have long believed, and stated to friends, that what the medical profession is misdiagnosing as “autism” is something else entirely and it is manifesting itself in very young children. Far from being an “illness,” it seems to me that it might well be that this is the new paradigm shift for the higher evolved mind.
Long ago and far away, when I was saying, thinking, and doing things I thought everyone could do, I found when I started school that I was wrong. What was very easy for me was exceedingly much harder for others. I was dyslexic, but overcame it in my earliest childhood...though it haunts me when I become very tired and sleepy. I could mirror read and draw when I was three. I can write backwards and forwards with both hands at the same time and equally as well with both hands. No one ever taught me to read, but I was reading before I was three.
I found that others regarded a genius, Einstein among them, were also diagnosed with dyslexia. So I wondered if this was a signpost that generation to generation, while the bodies had not changed significantly, the mind was evolving.
Mind you, I am sure not saying that I am a genius myslf, but others who are have these disconnects from what science considers the norm.
My mind is like a whirlwind and it’s hard to focus sometimes because it seems I think about everything all the time, even in my sleep...which can be debilitating because there is so much you want to say and do and there is never enough time because your mind keeps jumping and leaping to the next wave of seemingly random thoughts until there is an AHA! moment, (which is frequent.)
There are things you don’t say because you know it sounds crazy, but you know it’s true. But if you DO take the chance and say something, there is always someone much smarter than you who says you are crazy or that what you have said is “impossible,” until you run back into your silence. THEN, when what you said five years ago is “suddenly discovered” to be true, and science needs to “rethink,” no one ever remembers you were there.
It is a logical progression from the misdiagnosing of dyslexia to the autism being misdiagnosed today.
Remember this five years from now.

Liberty 1970 said, Hugh Ross will be terribly disappointed.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

No he wont be upset. Dr. Hugh Ross, a CalTech PhD in Astronomy, will say the kid’s basic astrophysics is wrong.

If I could be so bold as to speak for Dr. Ross, I hardly expect the newspaper to go through a peer review, but they should at least ask someone who knows something about it before the publish. The media is untrustworthy!

in a nutshell, his theory is based on his claim that stars like ours burn through nuclear fusion of hydrogen to helium, and when that burning is complete, the star dies. he also claims that all heavier elements are the result of fusion inside supernovas. both of those claims are wrong.

he then claims that there cannot be enough carbon in the universe to be consistent with observed carbon, and thus big bang wrong.

his error is that nuclear fusion burning in stars like ours continues past helium, even past carbon, all the way to iron. only elements heavier than iron require supernovas for synthesis.

and yes friends, YOU ARE MADE FROM SUPERNOVAS DUST!

the kid does unknowingly hit on one of the reasons i think there must be a creator God. It took about 10billion years to assemble the heavy elements necessary for life via stellar fusion. when that was done, life appeared virtually “instantly.”

miraculously that timing also matches the timing of our 4.5billion year old Earth forming as a hot mass, and the instant it cooled enough for life to appear, bam!, life did appear, 3.8 billion years ago.

then, life didn’t “evolve” for 3.3 billion years until the Cambrian explosion, 530million years ago, and again BAM! every phyla that exists today appeared in an ecological instant! There’s no explanation for those things other than a Creator God.

the bible says it best.
Psalm 19 (New International Version, ©2011)
1 The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
2 Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
3 They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
4 Yet their voice[b] goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.

And the Apostle Paul (a Jew who accepted Christ) in his letter to the Romans said:
Romans 1:20 (New International Version, ©2011)

20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

disprove the big bang (general relativity).

The way to disprove the Big Bang Theory is to replace it with another theory that answers the cause and effect the Big Bang Theory addresses.

All renowned scientists will tell us the exact state of the Universe within parts of a nanosecond "after" the Big Bang. However, not even one of them will tell us the state of the Universe just before the Big Bang.

Most important would be a theory that explained the uncaused first cause. Until that time, I will accept the Big Bang Theory as God’s method for universe creation. In simpler terms, God just snapped his finger and billions of years of creation began.

Every sheet of paper in the world?

Kind of neat sending a genius to interview a genius.

The ‘Dopler Effect’ is having problems rtight now ... do not use to measure distances to Quasars and especiially Quasars in the neighborhood of a galaxy. And whatever you do, ignore Quasars next to galaxies with which an exchange of star dust is visibly occurring. ... That is all. You may return to your regularly failing program.
