The group is shooting to fire up a nation-wide cyber-roots push for legislative progress to "repeal the last 7 state bans on openly carrying properly holstered firearms," . . . Incredibly, Don Scott, president of a self-proclaimed “gun rights” group calling itself the Oklahoma Rifle Association (ORA), has urged the Oklahoma House to kill the open carry bill by falsely claiming that “the purchase of handguns by persons under the age of 21 is in violation of existing federal law.” . . .
Email ORA President Don Scott today at dons@rec.ok.coop and ask him to “Retract your lie!” about federal handgun purchase laws. . . ."

I belong to Open Carry Wisconsin on FB. We have had no problems. I’m sorry that your solution to adversity is to give up.
Even if that were accurate, it wouldn't be an argument against the law. Federal law is federal law. Presumably it's in force just because of its enactment, without the states having to duplicate it, provision for provision. Or to put it another way, the potential change in state law either does or does not invalidate the federal law. If it doesn't, Scott has nothing to worry about. If it does, the the enactment of the new law would represent a legitimate exercise of the power the citizens of OK vested in these guys when voters elected them, and Scott should then argue the issue on its merits.
The ORA is a left wing group, not a gun rights advocate. Don’t waste your emails.
I’m in favor of open-carry. Its that way in Vegas. The police should leave us drinkers alone.
Once we get Constitution Carry on a national level then the next stage will be to repeal the gun control laws that make it impossible to own full auto rifles. Then we’ll be as free in that sense as Switzerland.

It makes you somewhat close to a “Classic Liberal” which is philosophically very close to a Constitutional Republican.
The left had, at one time, a shred of integrity and honesty. It lost that very quickly and has resorted to existing on lies for decades. It took over the term “liberal” when “leftist” became too toxic.
I don’t recall that “Holsters” have anything to do with the Constitutional right to keep and bear arms. Open carry and properly holstered are pure hogwash. If you can bear arms, any manner of bearing should be satisfactory so long as you do not endanger others.
He who controls the conversation controls the outcome of the battle. It’s time for the Right to take back conversation by taking back the words the Left has hijacked over the years.
