(VOV) - The fine relationship between the US and Vietnam plays an important role in maintaining peace and stability in the region, said US Republican senator, John McCain at a meeting with Vietnamese ambassador to the US, Le Cong Phung in Phoenix, Arizona.

He makes me sick
McCain needed to retire 10 years ago. He does nothing but bad things for our side.
VN should release/account for all of the America’s POWs/MIAs.
Yes, our favorite Manchurian.
My breakfast just tried to take the elevator. The stupid old bastard doesn’t know who his friends or enemies are, what we fought and suffered for,and may he fade in obscurity for this.
I have a LOT of young friends in VietNam. Most people in VietNam actually like the US and want to be more like us. VietNam is becoming a good trading partner that is starting to cut into China’s exports.
This is the man who put a stop to any investigation into POWs cant say what I really think of the POS . That said this here is one for all the Cowboys.

One thing: Vietnam keeps their muslim population very, very low to nonexistent. So they´re sure doing something right.
Same for their Christian population.
Having said that, Vietnam despite their internal policies is not a problem on the world stage. Actually the only two countries they messed with since the Communist takeover was China and Pol Pot’s Cambodia, they did the world a favor by taking out the Khmer Rouge. You don’t see Vietnam in bed with Iran or Chavez, or anything like that. They aren’t even very Communist anymore, but they are just want to retain their power, and so they are pretty ruthless at making sure any dissent is squelched.
One thing though, is that they fear the ChiComs more than anything, which explains why they are anxious to have good relations with the US, especially since the fall of the Soviet Union.
That simply means that labor costs in China have risen since the mass export of US jobs to that country. Now even cheaper labor is being sought and found in Vietnam.
Not exactly precise. There are major Christian populations and churches in all the large cities, and when my daughter and I were there in 2000 we saw a Christian church on the Redball twixt Tam Ky and Danang. I should have gotten out there, and could kick myself that I didn´t. But there it was, crucifix and all.
Where is his praise for Jane Fonda? I guess that is coming.

I am troubled that John may have gone ‘all in’ in Vietnam.
The Manchurian candidate sequel, “From Hanoi to the White House”, staring Johnny McCain, co-staring his former handler from Vietnam, George Soros, John Kerry, Teressa Heinz Kerry, Russell Fiengold, Joseph Lieberman..., plus a cameo by Sarah Palin, “We must return John to Washington, D. C.
This is one mell of a hess.
Do you think Hanoi might give John-san his old room back for a few years?
