Just shown... Abercrombie and Fitch is offering a new item: padded bikinis for children ages 8-14 years old. Developing...

“Ive had to say no to clothing”

Any parent who would buy one of these for their daughter (or allow her to buy one for herself) should be drawn and quartered.
Amen. Thank God I had a son.
Sounds like the molester would almost be a victim in this circumstance...
The mask is off. They do things for the perversion and exploitation of the children.
I don’t know...he’s the one that these clothes are screaming at.
Abercrombie and Fitch will sell anything for a buck.
Good for you! God bless you. I think back to when our daughter was in her teens and have to say my biggest beef with her was too much eyeliner for my tastes. And I thought that was a crisis. Nothing compared to today. Our 15 year old graddaughter is a sod-kicker, totally 4-H (ish). Boots and jeans! While I’m at it I may as well tell you that these mothers that make their little girls dress like little sluts for these outrageous beauty contests ought to be arrested for child abuse as well as the parents on the subject of this thread!
I know what you are saying. However, it is the parents who have the money to BUY these thing...not the kids? Does an 8 year old do it by herself? Does she go to the beach by herself? Mine wouldn’t so...there is no way ours would be wearing these bathing suits. Those kids are too young to be going anyplace by themselves in this evil world much less wearing anything so suggestive. Parents: Stand up and refuse to buy them. If no one buys them they won’t sell and they won’t make money. I would never sacrifice my beliefs nor those of my daughter for anyone who would seek to exploit children. God forgive them but...there MUST be a market for them or this company would not even think about such an outrageous item.
I successfully raised three boys and I admit it. I would have gone stark raving bat-guano crazy if I had to raise girls. I wouldn't have been able to take it. I wouldn't have the strength.
My deep respect to those strong, courageous souls trying to raise decent women in this age.
Seriously.
Good for you Mom. You love your children enough to say not no but hell no. However, I’m sure your kids know enough to not even ask. Taht’s being a REAL MOM and not a friend.
Ahh! Now I get it. I was such a boob.
Maybe the padding is intended to be a safety feature in case the girls bump into something?
Sorry, I replied to the wrong thread.
I agree 100%.
Parenting is what it's all about. The kids can whine all they want and they WON'T (much) if you do it right.
“Why?”
Because I’d like to know what the industry says to justify this move. Ya got a problem with that?
I think (hope?) that in this case even Laz would decline to hit it.
