This did not make the news, but it fits in with other stories that at least were barely reported on. I will tell it as I was told it.
I was at my local branch of Chase today making some transactions. I have a number of accounts, and therefore know a few of the folks there. I asked the teller in passing if they had heard the news about SEIUs Stephen Lerners plan for an orchestrated union and community organizer action against Chase in May, with the hopes of precipitating a financial meltdown and national anarchy. Several other tellers also heard my question, and they all said that they had not heard about it, but that they they had undergone an attack or protest by SEIU at their branch last Friday.
I later went to talk to one of the senior persons about another matter, and she asked what I was talking with the tellers about that created so much discussion. When I told her, she gave the details of the SEIU action. A week ago she received a call from a person to warn her that SEIU would be showing up to force their way into the branch and get the manager the next day, in protest for Chase supposedly not paying their Washington State B&O tax (Business & Occupancy). The caller told the senior person the time they would show up, and that there would be similar actions at Chase branches throughout the county and some surrounding towns. The caller stated that they would charge in and occupy the branch, and that they planned to have to be dragged out by police.
The next day (last Friday) van-loads of what she described as really despicable people - like a crowd on a Jerry Springer Show, wearing purple, logod SEIU shirts, and carrying crudely made signs, assembled outside and made a rush for the front door. It had just been locked, fortunately, by a security guard they had called in, just in case the warning from the day before was real. Several of the protesters tried to force their way through the door by breaking it down, but were unsuccessful. They were described by the woman as vicious, and they stayed quite some time screaming angry and intimidating/threatening taunts at the staff inside, especially at the senior woman who was photographing them through the glass door. Police had been called right away, but never showed.
I did not find out if the protests at other branches ever materialized. When I asked if it was ever reported in the news, I was told it was not. I got the impression, though she never came right out and said it definitively, that she suspected there were people there to photograph the police hauling the protesters out of the bank, but that such possible media types chose not to have the event make the news because it didnt go the way they were hoping.
Anyone else hear of such tactics elsewhere?
“Police had been called right away, but never showed.”
You mention that only in passing, but I find that VERY troubling and think it needs follow-up or looking into for the reason, or worse - a possible tie-in or cooperation with SEIU?
“As most cops are union, they will never bust their own fellow unionists. That’s why crimes committed by union goons never get prosecuted.”
Well, damn. So cops wouldn’t even answer a call about possible harm (what about if violence is in progress) to a bank or its employees???
THAT should be prosecuted as a felony and any law enforcement who ignore such a call for should be prosecuted for felony as well.
Thoughts, anyone?
If I recall correctly, when she said that with a puzzled tone, I just pointed out that they were probably in the same or similar union. I mentioned the extortion letter the three LEO and the firefighter unions had sent (with the teachers’ union) to those businesses in Wisconsin. Her face just dropped in appalled understanding.
Their sign up for April 4th, anniversary of Dr. King’s death because ‘corporate CEO’s are taking away the rights Dr. King died for’.
“Because banks are federally insured, the FBI are first responders to any issue at a bank.”
Thanks for the info. Now, my next question is - since the head of DOJ and his boss in the White House are marxist, radical protectors (even backers) of union thugs, do you think the FBI can still be counted on to respond and do the right thing as in your past experience?
“but that such possible media types chose not to have the event make the news because it didnt go the way they were hoping.”
The thug tactics DO NOT WORK without a complicit media....
“Eventually, these SEIU types are going to start taking some bullets, especially here in Texas.”
But that’s exactly what these people want! I think a ton more good will come of it by capturing as many on camera or video as possible (like the exposure of ACORN, etc.) and going directly to guys like Glenn Beck and Andrew Breitbart who have BIG national megaphones. That’s what will throw a real wrench in their (SEIU, Obama et al’s) plot. Otherwise, we’ll only fall into their trap and it will backfire on us.
In fact, what about contacting Beck (or his staff) with this story? He’ll shine some big light on it, and possibly even head off something worse in the future by doing so. This is exactly the sort of thing he’ll want to know. That’s why he’s so often asked all of us to help be his eyes and ears throughout the country.
What do you supposed could happen if another group decided to lay in wait for them?
And captured a few for .... a long talk.
Consider your comment to today with the news that Jamie Gorelick is being tapped as the one to be the new FBI Director.
Just sayin . . . .
With respect to the guard, he knew they were safe inside those doors. Think about it for a moment before you go off castigating the guard.
Then he is pissing up the wrong tree with just about what 10 to 11% of the US workforce is union, and that number continues to fall, ironically admitted to by, Lerner.
These malcontented entitlists see the gravy train running out of steam and just like a trapped wolf is most dangerous right before its end. Doesn't that just come close to decribing the rabid actions of these goons?
They are trying to get us to react violently so they can use it against us. Do the smart thing and just point at them and laugh. Sarah Palin uses that technique with the media and they are exploding and exposing themselves all over the place. Not saying to not have a good defensive plan at hand, but mockery is the best weapon to use against them. Eventually it will get covered, or should I say uncovered.
Hire armed private security, and if these communist POS’s try to force their way in, Mace their asses.
Failing that, protect your life by any means necessary.
Just keep telling yourself: Unions are good; teachers are good; police are good.
Don’t have time to read the comments.
Would this be “Attempted Robbery” by trying to break into a bank?
“Police had been called right away, but never showed.”
If you want the police to show up quickly just tell them there is a dog you want them to shoot.
Why did the thugs call to warn the bank? If they hadn’t warned them they would have gotten inside and been arrested which was the goal. They should have called the media or the cops instead of the bank. Morons.
