What is your explanation for all the stories like this one?

Do you think Birthers are just making everything up?

do you think Obama is hiding anything?

If not how do you explain the continued controversy?

If you do think he is hiding something what do you think it is?

As I have said a many, many times on FreeRepublic, the correct way to resolve these issues is via a grand jury investigation and/or a congressional committee investigation.
Both Grand Juries and Congressional Committees have subpoena power to compel witnesses to testify under oath and to force the release of documents and records relevant to the investigation.
EVERY major scandal involving the presidency since Watergate in the 1970’s has been resolved by grand jury investigation coupled with congressional committee investigation.
In my humble opinion, those are the correct way to answer your questions.

I was just relating to another poster that there seems to be a sort of chicken vs egg argument here.

Either the guy is too stupid to be our president, or he’s too conniving and evil to be our president.

Either way, by now it’s startlingly clear that he shouldn’t be our president.

You know, I think Trump should now ask why Obama (and Michelle) are no longer members of the Illinois Bar.

Something mighty queer going on there. Michelle is on a court-ordered suspension for God knows what. The Soetoro boy took a "voluntary retirement" rather than face a hearing after an inquiry. WTF? Over.

All we do know is that on his Bar Application, he neglected to mention that he had gone by other names; other than Barack Hussein Obama, Jr., that is. He skipped drug use. And he failed to note traffic violations.

Usually, when an attorney takes a "voluntary" walk away from the bar, the deal is all records are sealed. They can never practice law again, yet it is cleaner than disbarrment.

Trump might want to ask for the facts. ROTFLMAO. Nail'em, baby!

As usual, jamese777, you didn’t answer the questions you were asked. I, for one, would like to hear your answers. Would you like to try again, this time without your usual cut-and-paste about Congressional investigations?

And he failed to note traffic violations. Odd, because, except for the multiple traffic beefs, the name thing and the drug use were cheerfully admitted to in Ayer's thrilling masterpiece, "Dreams of My Father." I guess the young fellow should have read it, the book being his "autobiography."

Usually, when an attorney takes a "voluntary" walk away from the bar, the deal is all records are sealed. They can never practice law again,(although there's a very slim chance that they might be allowed to start all over again) and with sealed records, it is certainly cleaner than disbarrment, although not a recommendation for high public office.

Trump might want to ask for the facts on this Illinois Bar discipline thing. ROTFLMAO. Nail'em, baby!

Was surprised to hear Hannity discussing the BC this afternoon. Usually all those guys avoid that topic.

You can thank Donald Trump for that.

Wow, Obama’s deeming a place the location of his American birth without any other corroboration just like the House was going to deem the Senate bill as having been passed by the House without its having been passed by the House.

Woofie, et al.
Yes, young Jamese may lack a certain religious fervor for the cause of ineligibility. However, the young fellow does not lack for common sense. Or a bit of cheeky schadenfreude. Deal wit it.

Of course Obama is a massive fraud. Duh! Ya think?

The courts have been unable ... and unwilling to deal with it. And not (1) that's ONE, elected Republican on the national scene has spoken directly to the issues. I generously include the belovéd St. Sarah of Wasilla. Not one Representative. Not one Senator. Not one Governor. Not one State Attorney General. Yes, state legislators have been making very conservative noises, but not one of their bills has made it to the floor of any legislature for a vote. So far, "Sound and fury, signifying nothing."

By all mean we must keep the "controversy" alive somewhere in the national conscience, as The Donald is doing right now. But neither has even he uttered the magic words, "Natural Born Citizen," yet. I mean what if the SOB was born in Hawaii? So what?

Keep punching! Not too much at Obama, because we don't want him to pick up the female sympathy vote because we "bullied" him, but your elected representatives. They have the power to immediately resolve the issues. Maybe, just one, maybe, one (1), ein, uno, un ichi, (1) of the Republican SOBs we support with our money and our votes will get off his fat duff and join Donald Trump. Not one elected national representative has looked into the Illinois Bar cases, The "Legal Name" issue, The lost year in POCKeestahn issue, The Passport Issue. Without the back-up of an elected Republican of national stature, all of us are marginalized. That's real life.

This will all be resolved. The Lost Dauphin will be found. Bonnie Prince Charlie will return. Barack Obama's heinous travesty will be revealed. Take a sobering breath. It took us over a century to bust Chester Arthur.

And he failed to note traffic violations.

Makes you wonder if some of those "traffic violations" uncovered interesting things about his aliases or his missing history.

It does kind of seem like it was all arranged, doesn’t it? A supposed “presidential candidate” who doesn’t take any guff steps out to take the flak and everyone is suddenly allowed to talk about the birth certificate? I’m wondering if The Donald isn’t just willing to draw the fire by talking about everything everyone else is avoiding... that he’s not really interested in the nomination at all.

“As usual, jamese777, you didn’t answer the questions you were asked. I, for one, would like to hear your answers. Would you like to try again, this time without your usual cut-and-paste about Congressional investigations?”

Here are my answers:
“What is your explanation for all the stories like this one?”
There is an internet sub-industry in Obama conspiracy theories. They’re fun, they keep people interested and they are no different from why the National Enquirer continues to sell magazines.

“Do you think Birthers are just making everything up?”
No, I don’t. I think that Obama’s lack of 100% transparency fuels the birther movement.

“do you think Obama is hiding anything?”
I have no idea, but probably yes.

“If not how do you explain the continued controversy?”
Conspiracy theories have a life of their own. We’re still debating the Lincoln and Kennedy assassinations.

“If you do think he is hiding something what do you think it is?”
I have no idea. Everyone has skeletons in their closets. Obama has done a masterful job over four years of keeping himself from being “swiftboated” a la John Kerry.
