Elizabeth Taylor, who converted to Judaism for her marriages to Mike Todd and Eddie Fisher, is following the rules of the religion by being buried soon after her death Wednesday.
The funeral for the star, who succumbed to congestive heart failure at age 79, is taking place at Forest Lawn, Glendale, on Thursday, say reports. It will be strictly for family members, including her 10 grandchildren.
The cemetery is also where Taylor's friend, Michael Jackson, is buried.
It is expected that a public memorial for Taylor will take place at a later date.

rest in peace, Liz
Well at least now she'll know the truth about Michael, Liz, stay as far away from him as you can.
Will Bubbles be there? Oh, wait. I’m not sure Bubbles is Jewish.
Considering all the nepotism in Hollywood, I wonder why that is.
Elizabeth with son Michael Wilding...
If he is, I want to meet the guy who did his bris.
When I heard her burial was today, I wondered if she had converted to Judaism.
RIP, Elizabeth.
Actually, Jacko isn’t buried in Glendale...he’s at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills about 15 miles away.
I have followed her real-life drama as long as I can remember, LOL.
I distinctly recalled that she converted in order to marry Mike Todd, her biggest true love who died tragically in a plane crash.
So, when I heard she had died, I wondered if she remained Jewish... and she did!!
What a beautiful photo and what adorable boys.
It really is beautiful. People Mag has a lot of nice photos.
There had been speculation that she would be buried at Westwood Village Cemetery, where her parents are buried in crypts. I couldn’t see that, because it is a very small cemetery and, of course, traffic is horrible.
I wonder if her PR deliberately planted that rumor. Smart of them if they did. Hah.
And it’s obvious, her plans for her final rest were well prepared.

May she rest in peace, and may God comfort her family and friends. I just put “Elephant Walk” on my Netflix list. I saw it years ago on television, and she was so beautiful.
Good for them. I’m glad Westboro was outwitted.
