CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A Shelby man says he has captured video of Bigfoot.
Thomas Byers e-mailed NewsChannel 36, saying he saw Bigfoot walk across Golden Valley Church Road in Rutherford County Tuesday evening.
Byers' says he was about 15 to 20 feet away from the creature when he captured a five-second video.
"It ran across the road and into the woods right in front of us and I was able to film it," Byers wrote. "In the short video you can hear it snarl or growl at me."

Coelacanth was known only from the fossil records, millions of years dead, until some were caught and brought to the attention of scientists in the late 1930's.
The size and configuration of giganto fits perfectly with descriptions of Bigfoot. Maybe they bury their dead, and that is why remains have not been found in modern times.
Yes, I would think so. But look at the habitats they occupy. Generally places where we would not try to build anything (which is how many prehistoric dwelling or grave sites are discovered, during excavation for construction). Builders of roads and railroads seek out the routes needing the least modification when going through mountainous regions, and you can hide just about anything in a forested swamp.
Whatever they are (unless they are in fact a hoax perpetrated over hundreds of years by multiple cultures), God made them; if He wants us to know about them we will make the required discoveries.
