Was this Chris Gaines on his dumb album a homosexual goth friend of Garth? I always thought Garth played for both teams. I bet he is a closet sissy boy.

Not all country musicians are conservative....too bad. I used to like Garth Brooks until I read this. I never considered Garth Brooks to be country. He was essentially a pop artist with some C&W influences.
Although not all country artists are Conservative, that genre probably has a higher proportion of good, pro-God, pro-gun, liberty-loving people than any other form of music. Almost all Southern Gospel artists (essentially Christian country music) are Conservatives.
Without a doubt, nearly all rap and hip-hop "artists" are totally on-board with O'Bambi and his anti-American agenda. But I hesitate calling either of those forms music. It's just ghetto grunting to my ears.

Just goes to show that Liberals are stupid. Why would anyone in showbiz alienate half their audience?

Doesn't matter what he's smoking. Obama is the equivalent of the “brown acid” at Woodstock. One hit, it's a bad trip.

I don't know anything about Garth Brooks, but how dumb could this guy be...

Gaines was Brooks alter ego. When that came out I immediately thought the dude was a closet case.

Most people don't refer to "it" as a gun.
Hmmm... I wonder if Chris Gaines has visited the White House yet.

I don't give a rat's patoot what Garth Brooks thinks about Obama. Garth Brooks is a multi-millionaire and can absorb the huge hit this stupid comment will have on his career so I'm not concerned about him but why can't these performers keep their big mouths shut? They have to know that even when they back conservatives, they are going to alienate part of their potential audience, albeit for a country star, slobbering over Barack Hussein Obama, one of the worst presidents in modern - perhaps any - time is career suicide. As Laura Ingrham's 2003 book succinctly stated it: 'Shut Up & Sing'!

I caught a Garth Brooks special a few years back where he gave interviews between clips of his songs, and I’m here to tell ya...that boy is definitely not the sharpest tool in the shed. He can join the Dixie Chicks, Bon Jovi and Sheryl Crow in my don’t listen pile for trying to use their celebrity to advance a political agenda.

Garth Brooks Gets Award from Barack Obama. He played a series of December concerts for flood relief in Tennessee and raised $5 million.

Sounds like Garth Brooks just Dixie Chicked his career goodbye. I bet it won’t be long before he starts cancelling his concerts.
