I think she’ll run because it’s the best way for her to continue advocating her vision for America. Her Republican opponents for the nomination will be strengthened by competing with Palin. Also she has a large block of voters that will listen closely to her recommendations should she not be the nominee.

My observations of every president since Eisenhower lead me to the conclusion that character, not experience, is the most important consideration.
A person of good character, even if inexperienced, will surround himself with people of good character who are experienced, and wise decisions will be made, barring human error.
A person of bad character, no matter how experienced, is going to do the wrong thing on purpose.

Now, I do agree with your concerns regarding the American electorate, however, I will not allow that to lessen my resolve.
If you are right, then Obama will win. He will continue to destroy our country and we will likely devolve into a bloody revolution.
I am not a “sky is falling” sort of guy, but our Founding Fathers warned us, and Reagan warned us that we could lose it all. So far, Obama and the dems are proving those warnings to be true.
I see Palin as our best known bet, so I’ll vote for her, Liberty, our Constitution and American Exceptionalism.
We all know polls have their biases. But they aren’t fabricated. A well connected conservative politico told me years ago he always believes the polls. You can’t advance your cause if you don’t deal with reality.
This debate is just a matter of opinion. All of your points are good. I just think she did herself a lot of harm by quitting. We won’t know which school of thought is correct until this all plays out. I don’t have a dog in this fight at this time. In fact if Palin does really well in the primary debate I’ll probably support in the primary vote. I’m not a purist as many people her are. I want to win the presidency and I don’t give a damn if our candidate agrees with me on every single issue.
I think both of them are good administrators and leaders. RR had more experience since he was over 20 years older when he ran for president.
I know Adam West had military experience, but does he have experience running a business or a state? Herman Cain has run a business, but does he have military experience? I could go on, but we just don't have a RR clone out there that I know of.

What's your point? As Executive Officer he had administrative responsibility for a large unit. That's more executive experience by itself than Barack Obama ever had before the Presidency.

I don't get this certainty. The claim is that the Republican elites don't like her. A lot of Freepers don't think she is the best candidate either. Rightly or wrongly, that means that she has opposition even within the party in which she needs overwhelming support to get elected.
What makes you think that all those people, and all those people affected by PDS, and a significant number of those people who voted for Obama in 2008, are suddenly going to reverse their "crazy" thinking about Palin and see things her way? They haven't done it in the last two plus years --what makes you think it will happen in the next year and a half? Where is the evidence that she has the abiility to swing over so many people who, as of now, don't like or support her?
Do you understand that you personally are not representative of the electorate as a whole? Neither am I, for that matter. If we were, I strongly suspect Obama would not be President today. It does us no good to delude ourselves into believing that our preferred candidate is more popular than he/she is.

However, there are exceptions: Catherine the Great, Elizabeth the First, Golda Meir, Margaret Thatcher...and Sarah Palin.
As you said, she is the only “real man” among the so-called Republican leadership.
