Popular conservative politician Sarah Palin understands the importance of the Temple Mount to the Jewish people, according to MK Danny Danon (Likud), who accompanied her on a visit to the Kotel Sunday.
Danon told Arutz Sheva's Hebrew-language service: "When we toured near the Kotel and in the tunnels near the Holy of Holies, she told me clear things without hesitating. She understands the importance of the place for the Jewish People and even asked me 'Why do you keep apologizing to the Muslims all the time?'"
"I explained to her the mistakes made by [then-Defense Minister] Moshe Dayan in 1967 and our mistakes in not fulfilling our rights in the Temple Mount and the Old City," Danon said. He was referring to Dayan's decision to hand back the keys to the Temple Mount to the Muslim Waqf immediately after the liberation of the Mount in the Six-Day War.
Danon noted that Israel has large-scale support in the Christian world but "we are afraid to take advantage of it. It's as if we are ashamed about ourselves. But there is great support and I felt it in the tour yesterday."(continued)

I should have known better. I will raise $2 million for her campaign and I know you guys will do everything you can.
When Israel had our strong support, the muslim was not so much at our throat as they are now.
Gov. Palin is simply restating the obvious bitter truth that islam will never be at peace with anyone.
My point of view:
If the goat-humping rejects from the Dark Age want to COEXIST with civilized nations, they will have to reject their Dark Age beliefs and behavior.
If the civilized nations want to survive, they will have to reject the absurd fantasy that islam will ever be able to COEXIST with the civilized world.
It would the work of a few short months to take over every Moslem country, starting with those that produce oil & gas or have/seek nuclear weapons. Even quicker if we were half as ruthless as the Left claims we are. The reason we’re losing in Afghanistan is that we have one hand tied behind our back, if not both.
Well, I intend to do everything within my power to help her get elected. Palin is such a positive force that I find it hard to tolerate the negativism from both her supporters and detractors here. She has a record to be admired and defended positively.
Bravo!!!!!!Dittos!!!!!!!
Palin is not one of the business as usual politicians like Pawlenty or Santorum or Willard M. Romney etc. etc.
GWB exposed his cluelessness when he said, "What are you going to do -- go to war against islam?"
They came to war against us; he capitulated, and we will pay the price for his capitulation for many generations.
If I were a moderator I’d have dumped p*ant a long time ago, as he required much more than his fair share of moderating.
You don’t have to be a kid to be offended you imbecile.
You sound exactly like pissant and I would wager that your days are numbered as well.
That’s the one. Thanks for finding it for me!

Your Precious? THe one with Tammy Bruce still on her breath?
The time has come to question the conventional wisdom which asks the question: “Is a candidate electable?”.
The truth is my dog could beat 0bama.
The question becomes: “Who has the guts to turn around this socialist Rat/Soros agenda?”
On that score Palin looks to be a top contender.
Ayn Rand.
I just finished Atlas Shrugged. Enjoyed all but the lengthy John Galt rant.
I think that something that should be repeated every time someone questions Sarah’s intelligence is that the smartest people in the country are the ones who got us in this mess.
Thanks for posting this (#7). During the debate over who the rebels might be in Libya and whether we should assist in Gadaffi's removal, I concluded they'd likely be Arab muslims and it really wouldn't matter- any outcome would not benefit us or the west in general. It's due to hatred ingrained in their society, something that's held them back for ages.
Establishing a society that respects life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness with the greatest protections against tyranny ever created was an act of love- love of the people. Muslims and communists build society around hate and fear.
Which led me to conclude that we must do everything we can to disengage from these societies as there is nothing to be gained from them. We must look toward the future for ourselves and abandon those who are mired in a centuries-old pattern of hate and it's inevitable lack of productivity.
Our duty is to ourselves, our children, and their children. We experimented with the Great Society at great cost in the form of opportunities missed by investing in failed policies where much better returns could have been had if we'd never chosen to do so. Trillions of dollars later, the problems we sought to solve have worsened. Dicking around in the middle east trying to establish 'democracy' will only cost us as much if not more of that which we desperately need to better ourselves and the west in general- our wealth.
We in the west (including Israel and India) must turn our backs on the haters. We must move toward energy independence and deny them the funds they use to attack us. Let them eat goat. And we should do this because we can and, someday they may thank us. If that day never comes, who cares? Let them eat dust. As to our domestic 'haters', many who depend on the public for sustenance be it the trough or the teat, we must be prepared to do the same. It's not a question of whether we are capable of carrying the heavy load they place upon us, but rather, should we? Are there not ways to lighten it?
Doing nothing is no longer an option if we're to survive as a free country. We must disengage from those who expect a handout with no intention of helping us build a more productive society. We must lose the failed policies of the past like public education ministries where gobs of money are thrown at failure. Make it local, make it accountable, or make it go away. And that goes, as well, for just about every damn government program in existence today.
We've got the people who can do it as many of them turned out last November (2010). I suspect that was just the tip of the iceberg as many more will soon realize how unrealistic what comes out of Washington really is. The future is THAT WAY and we are the ones best suited to get there. Not the Arabs, not the communists, not even our domestic Michael Moores, just us. My hope is that very soon this train will be leaving the station- if only for our kid's sake. It's been fun visiting Buttdragville, but it's time to move on.
Was it your first time?
I loved Francisco’s Money speech.
