Two big issues in Wisconsin could use your attention:
Please send your donations and vote for Justice David T. Prosser on April 5.
The "Wisconsin 8," state senate republicans who are facing a severe backlash and recalls from the unions, could use your donations. Unionists are collecting signatures to initiate a recall against each of these republicans. They need a little more than 15,000 signatures by May 1. Then a 6-10-week campaign will ensue before the election.
Please donate directly to the candidates at this page. Sens. Harsdorf and Kapanke appear to be the most vulnerable. Please keep them all in your prayers.
You can keep up on happenings in the state by visiting the MacIver Institute, a conservative T-tank. Also there's the La Crosse Trib, a western Wis. paper, covering Sen. Kapanke's territory. Yes, they are very liberal. The other worthless rag is the Journal-Sentinel.
Ping!
Since both Justice Prosser and his opponent too state funds, they can’t accept donations. Only 527’s can take money and run ads for State Supreme Court. ProsserisWalker.com is the libs 527 smearing Prosser. I have not seen any ads from a similar 527 bashing Kloppenberg, but she is as far left as you can get. Even Gov Doyle AND Obama thought she was unqualified for a judgicial appointment.
Well, the Wisconsin 8 can take donations.
There has to be a 527 backing Prosser, I am going to do a little research on that, Even though he got 54% in the 4 way primary, we can take NOTHING for granted. The Republican 8 don’t need our cash yet, my state senator Grothman doesn’t need a dime (no way he will get recalled).
I just contributed to Harsdorf and Kapanki. We have to keep these courageous folks in office to defeat the union machine.
Sen. Grothman was at our district caucus and he was on fire!
I sure hope the school choice crowd mobilizes the voucher parents.
Just a reminder, I posted this last week on FR:

There is more than collective bargaining and the budget at stake in Wisconsin.
Thanks, Daisy.
I spent a few minutes this evening calling all the conservative voters I know, and telling them to vote for Justice Prosser.
Nobody I called, even knew there WAS an election April 5th!
Please everyone, call your friends and relatives.
I explained the extreme importance of this particular election ( to not let the WI Supreme Ct become dominated by liberals who will overturn everything Gov.Walker does, etc)to them all and they all agreed they’d take the time to go vote. No one knew of the election at all, let alone it’s importance. Of course none of them are FReepers either.
Tonight, I got 7 others to agree to go vote with me April 5th, add my husband’s vote and make it 8, add mine and that’s 9 votes for Justice Prosser.
We must do all we can.
Thanks, Lady!
:)
Bump!
Prosser Ping!
Donations for Prosser can be sent to:
Prosser for Supreme Court
709 Milwaukee Street, Suite C
Delafield, WI 53018
(262) 646-3073
The RNC needs to get behind this.
Thanks Jean. Good info.
I think Club for Growth is running ads against Kloppenberg. They are good ads too — about how she was denied appointment to a judgeship 3 times. (2 times by Doyle and once by Obama)
