Not even one person in 10 believes Barack Obama has shown that he is eligible to be president of the United States, according to a stunning new scientific poll that also reveals political Independents have less tolerance than even Republicans for his efforts to obfuscate the issue.

Is there a poll out there that presents the mirror image of these results? See post #76.

"
It is interesting to me that Congressman Darrell Issa who plans to make Obamas next two years a living hell with Congressional investigations to be conducted by the House Oversignt and Government Reform Committee which he chairs has already said no investigations of anything Obama-related the occurred prior to Obamas first day in office"
Wasn't Congressman Issa a member of the 111th Congress?
Why would you, or anyone else, think that Congressman Issa would open an investigation into himself and the others of the 111th, as to how none of them made an objection after the counting of the electoral votes, of a person who was born owing allegiance to a foreign crown?
Think he wants to expose his own shortcoming? Nothing interesting there. Should be fully expected he'd ignore the issue. He's 100% invested in the narrative having been a participant of the 111th Congress.

Exactly. The story is FAR bigger than anyone in the state run media OR in Congress would admit.
They have a serious case of:
Then again, perhaps it's more a case of:

And that 9% that believe it are all Democrats at the bottom of the IQ chart. Probably AFL CIO members too.

I would be in agreement of a Constitutional amendment that would require Senator's, Rep's and SCOTUS members to be natural born Citizens as well. Many during the debates on the ratification of the Constitution requested that the Constitution be amended as such.
They were voted down because others thought it would be an impediment to immigration to the country.
Having the NBC requirement provides one of the strongest "check"('s) against foreign influence in our national government. Founder John Jay was wise to suggest such for the Commander in Chief.

Today ... Monday March 21 (0600 local) there was a string started, informing anyone paying attention, that at 0720 on a Chicago radio station Obama’s application for foreign student status at Occidental College would be brought up for discussion. The 0720 hour came and went ... nothing, nada, zip ... mentioned. Understand clearly fellow FReepers this a conspiracy of silence ... nothing will disrupt the liberal media agenda ... no legitimate questions concerning BHO Jr. eligibility will surface ... ever. Even the conservative talk show hosts ... Limbaugh, Beck, etc., won't go there ... they obviously got the memo early on ... don't touch this subject. Ever.

I’ve seen quibbling about the ‘numbers’ on this poll but I do believe most of the population has some doubts about Obama by now. They won’t speak it, but....
Everyone who runs our government should be a natural born citizen, everyone.

“Even preferable to state laws requiring presidential candidates to prove their constitutional qualifications before being allowed on the ballot would be a federal constitutional amendment requiring the same of all states.”
I suspect an amendment wouldn’t be required, as this would qualify the already existing eligibility requirement, as would a definition of “natural born citizen”.
Congress wouldn’t be adding anything to the U.S.Constitution, just clarifying and expanding within the parameters of one of the eligibility requirements.

Congressman Issa was in the MINORITY with no power during the 111th Congress. All he need say now is “there’s a new sherriff in town and things are changing for the better.”
Isn’t that why millions of Americans went to the polls and deposed the Pelosi regime?
As for the certification of Obama’s Electoral College votes on January 8, 2009? All he need say is “new information has come to light which casts doubt on the president’s eligibility. We intend to conduct a thorough investigation and I will be issuing subpoenas for the President’s birth records, school records, bar exam scores, Occidental College records, college financial aid records, Columbia University records, Harvard Law School records and any related information.
I will also be calling former Governor Linda Lingle, former Director of Health Chiyome Fukino and current Hawaii governor, my good friend and former colleague, Neil Abercrombie to testify before my committee.”

"Careful, the MSM will start calling you a birther..." Definitions: If you believe his Royal Majesty was born in Kenya, you are a "birther,"
but what do you call those of us who believe he is hiding something regarding his BC, but not necessarily his birthplace? Can't we have a term of our own?
Suggestions, anyone?

Wikipedia says; During the 1991 Gulf War, Emanuel volunteered with the Israel Defense Forces as a civilian helping to maintain equipment.
I had read it before but forgot the details. Even thought that’s where his finger got cut off but it was at Arby’s..

He was not IN the IDF, he was volunteering and attached to an IDF unit.
Some of the myths that surround Emanuel: Some people charged that Emanuel was an Israeli citizen or a dual U.S.-Israeli national (he is neither, he was born in Chicago in 1959); or, they alleged that he served in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), losing his finger confronting a Syrian tank during the 1982 Israeli invasion of Lebanon (he did not serve in the IDF, and lost his finger in a freak accident while working as a teenager in an Arby’s restaurant). A few accused Emanuel of skipping U.S. military service to join the IDF in 1991 (also not true — in the midst of the 1991 Gulf War, while U.S. forces were manning Patriot missile batteries in Israel and the Arab Gulf, Emanuel volunteered for a few weeks, as a civilian, doing maintenance on Israeli vehicles).
