Only 9% believe Obama has documented eligibility
WorldNetDaily ^ | 3/20/2011 | Bob Unruh

Not even one person in 10 believes Barack Obama has shown that he is eligible to be president of the United States, according to a stunning new scientific poll that also reveals political Independents have less tolerance than even Republicans for his efforts to obfuscate the issue.

In fact, I was just about to ping you.

Thanks for the thought.

AND school records!
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Donald Trump has been talking about the birther issue,...but,...what I find even more interesting are “The Donald's” comments about his own education.

Trump said that he was a very good student and had attended one of the best schools in the world ( Wharton). Now that, to me, is interesting! Donald Trump is making Obama’s school records and issue by referring to his own school record at Wharton.

Honestly....Obama is going to have a tough time in the next campaign season getting past some of these issues. I won't be surprised if he develops some vague ( but serious) health issue that will keep him from running.

We don’t agree often, but this time I think you are right. Obama is losing ground in public opinion, and he is likely to be asked it by people in 2012. Heck, I’d be willing to join demonstrations asking for his birth certificate AND school records! I think he owes the voters all his records, including asking Hawaii to make his birth certificate available to anyone who asks.

Are you really expecting a leftist politician to suddenly stop being a leftist politician?
Isn’t it better for conservatives if Obama doesn’t release a thing and that failure to be transparent can be used against him in 2012?

Today’s public opinion polls on Obama’s job approval rating show that 46% approval is the lowest he gets. Some polls have him higher. If only one in nine believe that he’s eligible, that means that this issue doesn’t resonate much with most people or that the poll was a push poll with leading questions.

So, in June 2009, 51.3% of those polled, were aware of the issue.
Now, in March 2011, 77% are aware of the questions surrounding Barry's eligibility.

Some of the data from Question #1:

Guess the attempt to ignore this issue hasn't worked out in favor of the state run media and the politicians. Too bad for them.

At last, some started listening to the Ghoster (moi!)

With all the faux legalese spewed by some, this is one of the issues that will collapse the MSM's brilliant WON's myth! It will peel this ghost of a POTUS like the rotten onion he really is!

If this comes out, 0b0z0 will need to be restrained in a padded room, lest he hurts himself.

He would be crazy to run in '12! He couldn't possibly take a loss, let alone is thrown off some state ballots!

Your friendly ghoster

Wenzel uses Rassmusen style automated polling, so its hard to call it a push poll....I think.

I find it odd that the percentages for those in their 30s and 50s are so much lower than the other age groups. Hm? I wonder what would have caused that?

Amazing numbers to Question #3:

69% of Whites want him to release his college records.
64.3% of Blacks want him to release his college records.
35.9% of Hispanics want him to release his college records.
64.6% of Asians (or Other) want him to release his college records.

You're correct. It's not push poll.

It was undoubtedly a phony poll. However, I do believe there are enough Americans who want to know that when Obama runs in 2012, someone somewhere will pursue the question. If not, then I’d like to see FreeRepublic organize protests to “Free the Birth Certificate!”

Or maybe, “Set Your Records Free!” - to include releasing his educational records. The GOP candidate needs to be pressured to authorize release of both birth certificate and educational records, to smoke Obama out.

It won’t be easy. You know full well I’m not a ‘birther’. I think WKA was wrongly decided, but I also think my side lost 60 years before I was born, so that is a dry hole. But no one should be able to run for President without releasing their educational and birth records. I know it has often been done, but I also think folks have a reasonable expectation that a candidate will allow public assess to education, military and birth records. If they aren’t willing to release them, then we need to hang them around the slimeball’s neck.

We’ve spent a lot of time arguing on FreeRepublic, but I think this is something that ought to unite all conservatives. I don’t understand how anyone can object to expecting a presidential candidate to allow his qualifying records released.

>You have to be REALLY gullible to believe this. Blacks are 12% of the population. This would require 25% of black to have problems with Obama’s eligibility, and 100% of every other ethnic group.<

I think a lot of blacks would like to think that Obama is from Africa or someplace other than the United States.

As far as your other links, they appear to be a year old or more.

The idea may well be getting out there considering even Matthews has come out on MSLSD and said flat out that Obama never produced a long form with a dr.s signature.

The company that did the poll was http://www.wenzelstrategies.com/

Do you have information on them that would tend to demonstrate they have a history of doing biased polls?

>That’s the part I have never understood. Why didn’t Hillary’s people find out all this stuff about him during her first try for the nomination? It was all there like it is now. I just wonder why no one ever questioned anything about his qualifications.<

But they did. They were the ones who first started this. Federal lawyers that had been appointed by Clinton. life long democrats took this to court first. Berg.

The thing that didn’t happen was that Hillary herself never said it because she was probably afraid that she would be attacked as a racist.

“Wenzel uses Rassmusen style automated polling, so its hard to call it a push poll....I think.”

When your questions are designed to raise an issue with the public, it is a push poll. And the questions in this survey were NOT ‘just the facts’ questions. They were intended to elicit a response the pollster wanted.

“True push polls tend to be very short, with only a handful of questions, so as to make as many calls as possible. Any data obtained (if used at all) is secondary in importance to negatively affecting the targeted candidate.”

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Push_poll

This poll was intended to give WND something to write about. Look at the questions. It rates up there with union polls showing people support teachers making $250K/year...

There needs to be a special purpose organzation to raise and press the birth certificate issue in the state legislatures.
