Don Wade and Roma will be relating the story at 7:20AM this morning about documents surfacing that show Barry Obama registered in college as a foreign student in order to get financial aid.

I'm already up and at work for almost two hours listening to it on the computer. No, I didn't have a dream.

Don and Roma, esp Roma, never accepted calls relating to the birth certificate or citizenship issue.

And this is what made Don's announcement and Roma's response that much more interesting. Given their reticence to speculate, I figured that he must have gotten something pretty firm to have spoken about it.

Post the forms. To many times we have heard we have this and we have that. Post it so we can all see.

Post what forms? I heard about an upcoming announcement about something relevant and gave a heads-up so that people could actually hear it when it came up than my just having told them about it afterwards. As it turned out, there was no afterwards, which makes the original incident even more interesting.

Yes. At about 6:45AM Don mentioned that he would be talking about some documentation that showed Obama registered as a foreign student so he could get student aid. Roma responded to it and then Don said that would be coming up at 7:20AM. I looked on their blog page on the WLS-AM website and could find nothing.

So did you hear a preview on WLS—usually they will say what is upcoming....Where did you hear that this was going to be revealed?

It was in the body of the show. It wasn't a teaser. Don said several sentences regarding this with response from Roma and then said he would have more at 7:20. There was no further mention of it that I heard until the end of the show at 9 AM. I wasn't asleep and dreaming. I get up around 4:30 AM and am at work by about 5:30 AM so there's no possibility of anything like that.

Hey Aruanan, apparently the event never took place. You need to tell us what caused you to think this was going to be discussed.

I'm well aware of the Snopes thing about that. I thought that it must be something more solid than that or they wouldn't have mentioned it. They're pretty good about show prep.

Your guess is as good as mine. I've been listening to the podcasts but they just have the guest on and everything between the guests is not there, such as their sharing comments received via text mail, etc. They had John Bolton on shortly after the program started at 6:09 AM. The next podcast starts at 8:37. So everything after Bolton and before 8:37 AM is not there.

I’ve heard about this being a possibility before. Is there some hard evidence or is this just more speculation?

Not only is it pure speculation without a shred of evidence backing it up, it's not even pluasible.

Generally, it's a lot easier to get financial aid for college if you are a US citizen. There are very few scholarships, grants, or student loans that are available to foreigners.

I have yet to see a single birther identify a single scholarship that was available to Indonesian citizens but not US citizens at Occidental.

I doubt it. The most likley explanation is they have squat and are too embarrassed to admit it.

It is not different from every single other occaisions when some birther claimed to have irrefuteable proof of something.

I thought it was right after Bolton. I remember looking at the clock and thinking that I wanted to get it up fast and was working on it at about 6:55AM or so.

This theory has been out in the ether (internet conspiracy zone) for some time, but, wow this is really breaking news if it breaks into a large market more mainstream show—and in Chitown no less...

As you heard it, maybe you should email Don and ask him when he is going to air the segment/discuss the issue?!

As soon as it didn't come on, I emailed D & R asking what happened to it. I've occasionally gotten personal emails in the past, so I'm hoping I may hear something.
