I can't help but be skeptical about why the US Ambassador to Mexico resigned today or why it was announced tonight. I am suspicious that it was done now to be smothered by the other news in Libya. Mexico is the story the US Government wants to hide. There is a monstrous war going on right next door that is being lost ....and for some reason our government downplays it. The announcement of the Ambassador's resignation because of suspected criticism by President Calderone would ordinarily be huge news but for the news of the military strikes in Libya.
Am I wrong? Or is our Government trying to bury what is going on in Mexico ?

Props to Greta for actually QUESTIONING some of the goings on in the World unlike so many of the lapdogs.
I don’t think we have a cover up going on. This administration and the media simply don’t care.
By the way, am I the only one that seems to think Greta is getting better all the time in covering important stories that the rest of the media seems to ignore?
I’m with you. I’ve been most impressed with Greta’s fearlessness in asking the hard questions, in pushing into things when the person being interviewed tries to wiggle out, etc. Go Greta!

More people are being killed on the Mexican/Texas border, than in Libya, not to mention north of the border Mexicans are causing great harm to our economy, choking off our medical systems, social services and have, killed, raped, robbed, shot, stabbed, and ran over tens of thousands of Americans...Yet instead of bombing or getting tough with Mexico, the American government protects the lawlessness on the border and aids and abets the endless violent, disrespectful invaders.
Libya is nothing more than a 2012 campaign event for Obama. A decoy and detraction, while America declines and our sovereignty dies...
The administration and those on the left are using the situation in Mexico to facilitate a political agenda.
The agenda being pushed by the administration is very simple. The installment of an irreversable socialistic tyranny in the United States.
Make no mistake liberty and the American way of life is under assaualt, but it’s not from Mexico. It’s from within.
Oh, they care. The last president intentionally made American citizenship all but pointless, while publicly aiding and abetting this endless, violent illegal invasion, all while accusing those that took a stand at the border, as being vigilantes.
IS it just me,,, or is Bombing another middle eastern country who poses no threat us seem a little out of ordinary? Especially for a President who bashed another President for being a little too cowboy? The only thing that makes sense is a news media distraction of another large and looming scandal. Gunrunner maybe? Wagging the dog was already tried by the Bubba administration.
I agree with you dragnet2. The problem, imho, is if this blows up in zer0's face, there could be literally heck (nice word) to pay by the United States, and NATO. No wonder one of W's last sentences as he walked out of the WH, as a civilian, was something along the line of; Wonder if obama is up to the task?

Hey, but one person got killed in Syria too and there were probably only 50 or 60 killings in Mexico this weekend.
It's clearly under assault, caused directly by 25+ years of leadership who's motive was to move the U.S. towards socialism and total government control over Americans. The violent invasion from Mexico, aided and abetted by our own government, is an end to a means.
