CA prices will go to $4.50 soon. Very very soon.

For NO REASON, of course...

The Times Picayune is reporting that the Coast Guard is investigating reports of a brand new deepwater oil spill.

Just add this to the growing list of still another Obama disaster. Is there any doubt that he's not only the worst president in history but the all-time worst "executive" ever elected anywhere in the free world?

I expect the basketball-player-in-chief will find some reason to restrict Texan oil now but give contracts to Venezuela.

Maybe they can keep our minds off this with Japan and Libya. I am sure they are going to try and cover this up as much as they can.

Huge, naturally occurring oil sheens are not uncommon in the Gulf.

The pic shows the shoreline. Is the Macondo area that close to shore?

Well, the temperature inside the fireboxes of the 8 coal burning plants are near my house are the same as they have been the last 30 years I have lived here. No signs of a meltdown yet, and no big spill. Oh, I forgot, you can burn coal if you want to but he’ll bankrupt your company. Just a matter of time before the utility goes bankrupt.

Maybe pipeline, producing platform, but not a drilling platform. Nobody drilling would try to get away with something like this. Could even be a boat being a little messy, accidentally or with a purpose.

It could be a black algae bloom. I seen one of those once from a helo and it sure looked like oil except it left no silver/rainbow sheen on the leading edges.

There is moratorium on drilling in the Gulf, not possible to have spill.
