What exactly is the Palin Doctrine?
Repeating whatever she has been told to say by her handlers?
"No-Fly Zones" are not a new idea. They were enforced by George H.W. Bush, by Bill Clinton and by George W. Bush.
When Palin is not specifically given talking points by her handlers about an international situation before an interview, the results are not pretty.
This was Sarah Palin's response when she was asked by a friendly interviewer on the Christian Broadcasting Network "What would YOU have done differently in handling Egypt:
Its a difficult situation, this is that 3am White House phone call and it seems for many of us trying to get that information from our leader in the White House it it seems that that call went right to um the answering machine. And nobody yet has, no body yet has explained to the American public what they know, and surely they know more than the rest of us know who it is who will be taking the place of Mubarak and Im not real enthused about what it is that thats being done on a national level and from DC in regards to understanding all the situation there in Egypt. And in these areas that are so volatile right now because obviously its not just Egypt but the other countries too where we are seeing uprisings, we know that now more than ever, we need strength and sound mind there in the White House. We need to know what it is that America stands for so we know who it is that America will stand with. And we do not have all that information yet."
Can you imagine Ronald Reagan ever giving such a non-answer in regards to a foreign policy question where he was asked what HE would do?
If there is a "Palin Doctrine" in there somewhere and anyone can decipher what Sarah Palin would have done about the Egyptian crisis, feel free to spell it out.
You do make a fairly reasonable argumentt, pissant.....oh wait......
She's not President yet -- but when she is, the Palin doctrine will be the same as the Reagan doctrine: "We win, they lose."
Cheers!
"madam president.....how far should we pursue them once they cut and run"?......
Sarah: "all the way into the hanger".
